Uniqstar Alterations

Terribly disappointed. Really not worth it.Most awful experience ever had. The sewing is so loose that even a pen can cross it through! When I asked about it they said that was what they did. For god's sake that I even paid more for the alteration because they said my pants were wide-leg. It's just ridiculous that I paid even more for such poor quality.

This is the only tailor my partner and I go to. They have fixed every issue we give them - hem and suit alterations, zipper replacement, fixing damaged fabric. They have a factory which gives them access to commercial range of fabrics and hardware, so all replacements have been identical in colour and style to the original. I had a hole in the mesh fabric of my swimsuit and took it to my local tailor who couldn’t fix the hole or replace the fabric because apparently it requires a special machine. Uniqstar were able to make it look brand new.

Went to get two pants I just bought from Uniqlo to get shortened and they came out perfect! Definitely recommend coming here if you need tailoring done!

Went in at 1pm to get my trousers trimmed and they had it done by 5pm on the same day - I had no issues with the alteration.Friendly staff :)

I brought 2 of my pants to shorten up. The guy pin one of the pant at my desired length. I told them to cut it same to each other. When I receive it and try on. THEY WERENOT THE SAME, one is shorter one is longer. And I can’t wear none of those. They were both way too short. The pin on the pant was at my ankle. And after alteration. It were way up from my ankle. Looks like kid pant. I brought it back and told them to fix it again. They told me that too many customer bring back to be re-fix as well, so I have to pay again?????? It is so ridiculous, they made a mistake on both of the pants that are not cheap. And they said they with a really bad attitude. Please don’t ever bring your clothes here to fix.

Fast efficient service situated just below Myer. Reasonably priced if you need to get your fancy new suit trousers or jeans altered. Has a couple of changing rooms for putting on your clothes for seamstress to do her thingy. Alteration work is great, very satisfied!

I had a good experience here. Location is handy to Myer, service was quick and competent. $10 to adjust trousers is a price near impossible to beat in the city. I wouldn't hesitate to return.
