Really disappointing experience. My curls fell out within ten minutes, no product was used to hold them and the staff just weren’t friendly. I’d gone here after I was recommended but would not go again.

So many other superior salons in Double Bay to use run by more professional and superior staff, rather go to one of those and save yourself the disappointment

My hair is very important to me so if you want amazing hair Jess and the team are what you need. Can’t do without them.

I am a cosmetic dentist in Double Bay. My hair is a big part of my image so I need to get it done regularly so I am looking my best. I love Blowdry Boutique because they always fit me in and do a great job. Thanks to the lovely staff I am a really happy dentist.

Very ordinary experience! Booked in for a special occasion, only to be told I couldn’t have the hairstyle I wanted as I didn’t book for that amount of time, maybe they should have asked what I wanted when I booked in! Will never go back! The staff could not have been more dismissive! I only wanted a ponytail! There are a lot of hairdressers in double bay… I highly recommend trying another one!

I get what others in these reviews are saying about the experience being a little rough & unfriendly, but it was quick, easy, no-fuss, and my hair looked great! It fell pretty quickly so I'd ask for more hairspray if I go back again.

Blow dry was okay but certainly not one of the best I have had (I have had my hair blow dried professionally regularly for years). I was in last Saturday at 1pm. The girl who washed my hair was very rough and then when I sat down to have my hair blow dried, as the hairdresser combed my hair through, she caught my earring so hard that the earring flew out and the back of the earring ripped through the front causing bleeding, pain and a large hole. Clearly it was not intentional and she did apologise but the whole experience was very unpleasant and she caught the same spot again whilst finishing the style which was just awful. A person from the desk came over and started talking to me when they heard what was going on, making polite conversation, I can only assume trying to do some damage control. I am still treating the injury to avoid infection. Not good enough for a salon charging these prices and what was more shocking is that nobody seemed particularly concerned.

I went here a few days ago, I was man-handled by the staff. I had two of them tugging at my hair like they wanted it gone! I came out with ugly and extremely short hair ( not what I asked for!) I washed my hair a few days later and it had gone frizzy and hard to handle, never in my life has my hair looked and felt this awful. I was shocked at the bill too, it’s was not at all worth it. Will never come bad and neither should you!
