What if I say you can taste a typical Sri Lankan food without going to Sri Lanka? Then this is right place for giving a try if you're a food lover!Small place. Big hearts. Good food. And why don't you try their Chai and lemme know?

I ordered Ghee Rice through the uber eats and in the description it says Fried fish, coconut sambol, cutlet, boiled egg etc.. but this is what i got. I ordered the Ghee rice according to the description , since im not eating meat. But i got chicken meal with other stuff which not in the description. Even can’t contact the restaurant. Disappointed.

Ordered lunch (3 veg curries 1 meat and rice). 95% of the plate was rice with a few curries very sparingly spooned on top for, I can only assume was a sort of decoration. Two small pieces of chicken were mostly bone. Only reason I’m giving 2 rather than 1 star is the taste was acceptable, though more oily than other Sri Lankan places I’ve tried. Definitely not worth $14. Go elsewhere for your rice and curry fix - many better options close by.

A freind told me about this place so went to try it out as I’m a local in the area though to support the locals ordered 1 nasi which was fresh , 1 pork fried rice was fresh & 1 chicken fried rice.Now the chicken fried rice was the worst basically was cardboard fried. rice was so dry that was inedible and threw it away it was probably leftovers that was on the display.Don’t do this to people when it comes to food. Disgusting….

Worst dinner of the year!!!! I have had food from here in the past and it was really good. but today was a terrible experience and couldn’t resist myself from posting. I got chicken fried rice and kothu. Both the dishes had no taste or flavour. Also it didn’t smell or taste fresh. Chicken in the dishes were dry and hard like rock . You can see the pic… The chilly chutney had a foul smell too… I was afraid to eat the food. Unfortunately the food went straight out to bin. Please don’t do this when it comes to food. I regret my decision. What a waste of my money, time , energy and happiness.. Very much disappointed !!!!!

We ordered the lamb kottu roti and the chicken kottu roti. Both were delicious and transported us back to our holiday in Sri Lanka. The serving size was generous and the staff are super friendly. I will definitely order again.

23 years in Melbourne and we finally found a restaurant that reminds us of Aththamma's cooking in SL. You can tasted the vegetables in the curries and not just the spices. Customer service is managed by a young chap who is friendly and very informative about what he is doing. The chefs come to have a chat. Typical SL hospitality! This place is going to go places if they keep this up!

One of the best roast chicken and cheese kothu I have had in melbourne, very authentic and very good portion. Would highly recommend it to anyone.
