Surf World Gold Coast
A lovely place! The lady in charge was so sweet! I have never surfed before I came to Australia, and I really appreciated this little museum because it showcased really cool boards, discussed surfing from all over the country, and just had a lot of cool exhibits. My friend, who grew up surfing, was really impressed too, so it must be a legit place for her to like it as well.

Awesome! Greg was amazing thanks for showing us round!Was hoping for a surf down at the GC but unfortunately the weather wasn’t for it so we dropping in here for a surfing fill.Great stop very friendly and informative lots of board and history here.Don’t forget to ride the wave.

Absolutely loved this museum.Clean, neat and very informative with an amazing team of staff members who are always there to help you enjoy your visit.Good location: Superbee Honeywold, Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, Currumbin Beach, Elephant Rocks - everything is just steps away.Great value for money.I hope I will be back one day!

Surf World Gold Coast
Across the street from the animal park, the Surf Museum is organized into significant time periods of surf history. Lots of classic boards from literal logs to expieremental designs and materials. People running the place are friendly and chatty. Nice little gift shop with fair prices.

Surf World Gold Coast
Great museum for those who love surfing and for those who are tagging along. Lots of history of Australian surfing and lots of boards from early 1900s to the now modern versions and did I say lots of surfboards? Enjoyable reading along with a few videos. Thank you to the volunteers that run this little museum opposite currumbin sanctuary. Allow a minimum of one hour plus if you want to read everything.
