Quite expensive for a Rydges and for a hotel in Campbelltown but the bar is nice. Operated by the Catholic Club next door. Rooms somehow feel dated even though they only built it in 2007 and refurb was 2018. 20min walk to the train station and plenty of free parking around.

We stayed over twice, while travelling down to Melbourne from Queensland and on our way back. Room is comfortable, good size. The beds are comfortable, on the plush side, which is great for someone like me who has some ongoing back pain and cannot stand a firm bed. We would happily stay again.

Room was nice. As for the food and as a coeliac the evening meal was very good with options/variations on most menu items. Breakfast was a big let down. When I asked 2 different people about Gluten Free options 1person shrugged shoulders and said I don't know " so asked a second who was more helpful and pointed out the gluten free section/options which was mini muffins

Biggest waste of money I’ve ever spent on motel room,$303 per night and you absolutely get nothing! You can burn me once , but you won’t be getting any more business from me!I stayed in room 214 on the 24 th and 25 th of march 2023.Would of been happy to pay $180 per night! For $303 per night that should of included breakfast lunch an dinner

Surprisingly good for that end of Sydney. I stayed in the Surry Hills version and it left that one for dead. It has a brewery inside which may have influenced my comments somewhat. For the first time in 50 years we also saw a kangaroo running down the middle of the street. Quite amazing.

Nice place to stay and you can get some great deals becoming a member.Nice and close to the Catholic club so great for a night out when nobody needs to play designated driver.Have stayed about 6 times, never had a bad experience, the buffet breakfast is not cheap, but varied and tasty. The only issue I have is that I cannot connect my laptop to the TV via HDMI and watch my streaming services, have to watch the free to air rubbish, otherwise I'd give it a 5.

We attended a high tea function at Rydges last Sunday. The venue is nice, it has a cosy and comfortable feel to it and is attractive too.The cocktails that were advertised as being available on arrival were not ready and there was a line backed up of people waiting for their cocktails.Unfortunately, the service was lacking and the food also took a very long time to be served. The sweets were pretty but the mozzarella sticks, pies and toasted croissants were cold when placed on the trays on our table.Tea and coffee orders were taken before food was served yet the hot drinks arrived 1.30 hours later. When I approached the Manager to advise of my dissatisfaction he was not open to hearing my concerns and when I mentioned that I had already waited 1.5 hours for a cup of tea and still hadn’t gotten one; the Managers response was ‘we only have one machine’ which was not a good enough or professional enough response from a manager catering for a 150 person high tea event.Unfortunately the lateness of the food arriving, the food being cold, hot drinks not arriving when food arrived to accompany the food and then the lack of professionalism of the manager greatly impacted this event for me and also others at the same table. It was sad that this was the service provided for a not for profit volunteer organisation aiming to raise funds for a great cause.

Drove up from Melbourne for a funeral (at Macquarie Park) for 2 nights, decided to stay at Campbelltown as it was an hour less driving when travelling in and when leaving (happy for the hour drive each way to attend the events). The rooms were clean and modern (room 504), secure basement parking was great, the amenities were convenient (Catholic Club and Aquafit) and plenty of restaurants, cafes and shops nearby in and around the shopping centre. The bed needs a special mention, they are super comfortable and are like sleeping on a cloud. You wouldn't clasify Campbelltown as the most upmarket place in Sydney, but the precinct around the hotel was well lit and felt completely safe to walk between the Club and pool. We also took a morning walk to the shopping centre for a coffee which was fine.I gave it 5-stars as it is excellent value but there are a few things that could be improved on or aren't ideal:- I didn't use the gym or the pool, but its not ideal that I would have to walk to Aquafit to use it (although its only 50m away door-door). I would usually use these facilities at night after all the days activities and would be more inclined to use less great"facilities if I just caught the lift to another level.- The shower easily floods the bathroom

We recently held a milestone birthday celebration in the Terrace area for my mother. From first contact with Annelise the coordinator through to the day of the event nothing was too much trouble. The setup went smoothly, the food was amazing and plentiful, the staff (particularly at the bar) were on their toes and very efficient. Everyone was very helpful when we needed more of something. Some guests stayed overnight at the hotel and said their rooms were great although a little pricey. If you have a function to organise I would recommend Rydges at Campbelltown.
