Usually really yummy but I read that there's a new owner...Sticky Glazed Pork Belly is meant to have crackle on top, not be soggy and sloppy, also not enough seasoning. The whole point of pork or pork belly is the salty crackle..Hubby said the steak sandwich was actually pretty good though...Won't let me review twice... so I am editing this review...Zero stars.Thought I would try again, on Valentines day for a special dinner delivered with Uber Eats. Utterly disappointed... mostly fat, not crispy and so soggy.Lucky I had veggies to eat...Won't be trying again.

My girlfriend and I recently had the pleasure of dining at the High Wycombe Tavern, and we couldn't have been happier with our experience! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home.The menu offered a diverse selection of dishes, catering to a variety of tastes, and the food was simply delicious. We appreciated the attention to detail in the presentation and the freshness of the ingredients. The service was attentive and friendly, ensuring that our evening was a delightful one.What truly set this visit apart, however, was the Saturday night karaoke! The energetic and fun environment made it easy for everyone to let loose and enjoy themselves. We were thrilled to see patrons of all ages and backgrounds come together, singing their hearts out and creating a vibrant, inclusive atmosphere.In summary, our evening at High Wycombe Tavern was a memorable one, thanks to the delectable food, outstanding service, and lively karaoke night. Really comfortable local pub, perfect for watching the sports and having a beers. Nice friendly community down there as well. Beers are cold and there is a band on the weekend which adds to the chill vibe

Waiters are really nice, same with the food.Also they have a cool button to call the assistance.Seafood platter is a good deal for the price.Also recommend the bangers and mash.

Couldn't fault our experience. Food was plentiful on the plate made it worth paying for. Pork belly is DELICIOUS! My son enjoyed his ribs and my brother, the bangers and mash. Staff were friendly and efficient. And the atmosphere was calm and delightful.
