Sit Happens

We thought Sarah was very good and enjoyed our 1:1 sessions with her. We did feel it was a strong ‘sell’ and we’re hugely disappointed with the customer service provided by Erin the owner. The dog harness they sold to us broke after 3 weeks and we asked to swap it out as they have plenty of stock in there but Erin wanted to hear back from the manufacturer first - given they knew how much the harness helped us control our large energetic and reactive Vizsla pup we thought this was quite poor.

Sit Happens have provided us with such an amazing service. Our beautiful puppy enjoyed puppy school and has thrived throughout the training program which has given us the skills and confidence needed to nurture and handle our beautiful large bread dog.I can highly recommend Sit Happens for all aspects of training from puppy school to behavioural training and beyond. The staff are so knowledgeable and professional and really go out of their way to provide all the guidance and direction needed.We cannot thank all the wonderful staff at Sit Happens enough and will definitely recommend you to all our family and friends.

On a training level they were very helpful. On a communication and correspondence outside of a class they were very unprofessional. I paid for 4 private sessions (which was not cheap). First week I received notes on the class so I could review for practise. The following week (had a different instructor) she advised that they don't do weekly notes but at the end of the 4 weeks I'd get them. Approx 3 weeks after that last class and with a email asking for them I still don't have these notes. Dont promise something as part of your training/payment if your not going to provide it.

I travel 40 min to come have training with Sit Happens. I was after positive, force free training for my rescue dog.I was very happy with their one on one training sessions, and look forward to group classes.Sit Happens is a bit more expensive then other trainers in my area. In life we get what we pay for.

I attended both Puppy school and basic training with my Aussie Shepherd pup.The instructor I had throughout the 15ish weeks was always friendly, engaging and energetic throughout the sessions.We were provided with a comprehensive manual full of training tips and tricks and everything flowed together nicely.Although I had already begun teaching my Pup most of the commands before we covered them in class - it was still great to reinforce them in a positive environment with added distractions to really test the pups.If you have little experience training dogs or if you just need help reinforcing your training - I highly recommend Sit Happens for your pup

Darcie my 2 year old Rottweiler has been going to sit happens since we got her at 8 weeks old. She goes to daycare every Thursday. Together with there help and advice we now have a fabulous family member and friend.

Don't even consider them, they lie about the vaccinations expected and refused our dog entry to the class despite their website clearly stating she was eligible. Have subsequently refused refund even though we are unable to attend. Dishonest and greedy Just so no-one is misled by their response, we have been trying to settle this for nearly two months now, they don't communicate. Their website states 2 different vaccines and does not advise that only one is acceptable. BEWARE

Double the price of other places but feel they concentrate on getting more sales and signups for next classes rather than training your dog to be obedient. Classes were never on time (always running 10-15 minutes late), also being told to not use abrasive language such as NO" was not ideal. Training is 100% food and treat based

Our dog loves going to doggy day care here! Shes always exhausted when we get home. We've also had private lessons with Mitch and found them to be helpful with explaining and addressing some of our dogs more challenging behaviours. The instructors are all friendly and happy to chat about dogs!

Love this business. Laura has a practical approach to calming my dog and good ideas to help impulsive behaviour and introduced me to a gentle leader" and l now can walk my dog without fear of being pulled and feel in control. What a relief. I recommend this business to everyone who needs help with doggy behaviour."
