Lovely place to stay and eat in a lovely little coastal town. Fab suite, beautifully furnished, well equipped with great coffee and an awesome bed. Stunning views over the bay from the balcony. The restaurant is great, and the in room breakfast service efficient and delicious. Free parking makes this place perfect! Very highly recommended!

Accomodation just ok. It needs the revamp asap! Queen Chow restaurant tragic. Ordered the Special Pippies but then told they did not have any. 1 hour to wait for entree our first meal. Other tables around us were served their food before us yet we were seated and had ordered 30 mins or more before them. 2 dishes were inedible. Fried rice dry and rice not rinsed. Salt and pepper squid extremely salty with no pepper and undercooked ie batter white and gluggy in parts. Sweet and sour pork was tasty but the pieces of pork were giant sized and we had to cut each piece 3 times to fit it in our mouths.They ran out of the cocktail that we had 1 glass of! Some dishes were good though. But overall we cannot recommend it due to poor service, long wait for food and apparently a high end restaurant running out of a cocktail! No apologies. Unheard of. Not up to Merivale standards. We wont be going back.

Can't best this view, hotel is tired but still great beds and pillows really comfortable. Been coming back for 30 years that says something. Did I mention the view?

Expectation was met, and the hype was truly justified. Amazing food and incredible flavours. Totally attentive staff. A fantastic evening with lovely people. We will be back, for another dining experience. The Whale lives again, and looking around the room was full of locals enjoying the atmosphere, food and wine.

No breakfast, not even a snack in the room. Desk closed mid afternoon Saturday and was not open when we left on Monday in search of breakfast. No turn down service, no room services. Only enough tea and coffee for one day. There is no way of getting any more. Paint peeling in the shower, furniture of poor quality, definitely not a four star motel.

Rooms a bit jaded and need an update but clean. Queen Chow restaurant was wonderful and 2 males worked hard to provide service and quality. Maybe give a bit more training to young female waitperson.

Had the most amazing night at The Whale in. In the most magical setting with exceptional food to die for. Thank you Jordan in particular for spoiling us with cocktails. He is a wizard. Also a big shout out to Gemma and staff for your awesome service. Bloody legends! Narooma definitely is lucky to have such a beautiful addition.
