Darrell, Zak and Richard went above and beyond making time for me in the last 30minutes of the day on a wet Friday afternoon, with cheerful smiles and happy dispositions! Had my car serviced here today. A short time after dropping it off I received a phone call saying that I needed a new battery, wheel alignment, new windscreen wipers, the radiator needed replacing as well as some hoses, the rocker cover gasket. The air conditioner needed regassing and the condenser needed replacing. This car was serviced by them a couple of years ago and given a clean bill of health. I live in S.A and the car has been garaged since then and only driven around the block once a month or so by a neighbour to keep it going. The total amount of mileage done during this time since the service was about 500 kms. I had the service, wheel alignment, wiper blades and battery replaced. I was charged more for the service than quoted. The total was $608.00 call.I drove to a car radiator place who inspected the car’s radiator and air con and was told the only thing wrong with the car was the radiator hose was cracked and a new one would cost $25 plus 1 hour labour. MyCar quoted $900.00 for the radiator and about $1500.00 for the air con regassing and new condenser. I haven’t had a mechanic look at the rocker cover gasket at this stage but I suspect this may also be a lie. I am a 70 yo woman who asked the car to be checked to make sure it was ok to drive to Brisbane. My belief is that they thought I was an easy target to extort money from. I have since spoken to a relative who is 88 yo and had a similar experience when she was told she needed a new battery but when she went to a battery place was told that she did not need one. It’s time to hold these people accountable. I was told by the radiator place (who I won’t name) that this happens all too often by MyCar and other mechanics in Gladstone. All I can say is I am glad I don’t live here. So people don’t take these frauds at face value and get a second opinion before handing over your hard earned cash.

I have always taken my car here for my usual service and been reasonably happy. Only to realise they obviously dont check the car fluids properly as my coolant was fully empty which eventually caused significant damage to my car. (My car isn't even due for another service, coolant should last 2-5 years). I’ve had my car serviced 3 times in that timeframe. When I questioned if there was any issues found the guy looked like he didn’t have a clue, hesitated, then told me everything was great. Obviously they take advantage of young females, as after my issue I’ve heard very similar stories! I won’t be back or recommending mycar to anyone.

Completely happy with the service offered by the Gladstone team. We take both our sedan and 4WD to them. Their advice is always realistic, sensible and trustworthy. Recently we had an issue with the rear suspension, which they diagnosed and referred us onto a local speciality suspension business, who were also 5 star worthy in their work.

Great customer service and excellent service. When in for new tyres and a wheel alignment. I had previously used a different company for a wheel alignment several times and I felt no change. However this time using my car Gladstone definitely felt a huge change with the wheel alignment. I’m forever grateful. 100% recommend my car!

Not very helpful was told they dont do transmission repairs have to take my car somewhere else for that .website said they do offer that sevice so someone is not very truthful mechanic was very vague couldnt be bothered with meHad car fixed and new tyres fitted before and no issues very disappointed with customer service
