Unleashed Pet Grooming

Was happy with the grooming even though my dog was there all day.A text message and 3 phone calls and not one response. Not even a sorry we are fully booked. 4 months later and I've finally found a groomer who does just as good a job in less time. Not very professional

They are the Cat whisper :) Brought my long haired cat in for a groom as he had a lot of mats. Grooming a cat can be very challenging and previously I've had to take him to the vet's to be put under to accomplish this. Considering they groomed and washed him while awake and he spent about 2-3 hrs there he came home reasonable happy and relaxed all things considering and for a cat. I was very happy with the cut, and that he seemed to cope ok with it, and I was most happy that I didn't need to do this under anesthetic which is considerable costly and carry's a risk to the animal too. We have been taking our moodle to Unleashed for over 3 yrs and have no complaints. Great service, friendly and gentle. Emily the owner is very accommodating. If we need to pick Jazz early we let her know and she makes sure he is ready. Also if they are busy and the waiting time will be longer she let’s us know . Will continue to take Jazz there.

Edit: over the past year they have not answered calls or texts, even as a courtesy to say they’re booked out (when I’m happy to book months ahead)Friendly customer service and confident team. They were able to remove my dogs matting but still make her beautiful and tidy. My pup was very happy when she came home and not stressed. I can’t thank the team enough for providing such a great experience for my dog!

Never answers calls despite numerous voicemails and text messages requesting an appointment. I've had my dog groomed here twice before, both times I was told it would only be a few hours however my dog was there all day. Once 5 hours had past, I tried calling for an update but no answer so I drove over there at 3pm to ask what was going on as my dog had been there since 9.30am, only to find that they only just started grooming him when I arrived. Not to mention the girl that was grooming was about 16 years old. What's the point of having an appointment system if you don't do the dogs in order of appointment. They desperately need a receptionist.

I took my English Cockerspaniel to get a haircut and wash. My dog has problems with easy to tangle hair as his hair is super curly. When I picked him up I was super impressed with the service. My dog's hair was the softest it has ever been and I loved the way they cut his hair around the paws. My partner and I call it alpaca paws, super fluffy and soft.

I've been taking my dog here since he was a puppy but the last few times it has been getting worse and worse. We had him groomed last week and they didn't listen to what we wanted. We asked for a tidy and he was completely groomed. The worst part however was the unevenness of the cut, he has been clipped too much in some areas and not enough in others. He has been clipped to closely around his paws, tummy and bum that we had to take our poor dog to the vet who put him on cortisone. I asked to pick him up at 1pm after dropping him off at 9am and I was assured that was possible. 1pm came and I had no messages so I called but no answer. I had a meeting and had to pick him up before 2. I got there he was just being groomed on the table and was asked to wait. Unleashed seems to overbook and under deliver these days. They use to be good but lately have completely dropped the ball. I could have tolerated any of the other things but clipping my dog short to the point of causing pain is not something that should be tolerated. I'd stay clear of this groomer.

First experience fantastic so booked in again with owner for 6 weeks to get dog trimmed. Arrived today (Saturday) to the girl on the desk advising they don’t clip on Saturday just bath and she’d assumed someone contacted me. Disappointing customer experience to drive and the service booked to not be offered. Speaking from experience dealing with customers, don’t run your business ‘assuming’ when a quick text message would have covered this off. Weekend time for customers is important!
