I called to make an appointment and they said 'boy or girl haircut?' which is a bit regressive for this day and age, what if a boy has long hair, or a girl has short hair? Or you simply don't identify as either?Then I came for my haircut and they said 'oh no one showed up sorry' so I can't get my haircut, I don't hold that against them you can't force people to show up, but why not call and let me know? Instead of wasting my time?Lastly I tried to rebook and they said 'oh there's nothing for the week' and shrugged me off. Didn't let me know about the week after or anything, didn't seem apologetic at all for wasting my time either and I was starting to feel a bit unwelcome.I don't tend to make reviews but i'll admit I was pretty disappointed with the overall experience, not at all what I was expecting. I'm afraid I don't intend to try and rebook with them now.

$65 for a dry 10min trim, when it was only $45 6 months before. They didn’t admit that they’ve increased the prices, and even there was 3 staff and no customers they would not accept a 10min walk in. Avoid! Overpriced and don’t care for customers.

Once again I must say all the team go out of there way to accommodate me when I've had to reschedule at the last minute. I highly recommend this salon for its brilliant colour and cut I had just before Christmas. All the stylists are fabulous I've been going there only for quick blowouts. Thankyou found the best team of colourist on the north shore, for never had time to get a full head of colour and cut. And the prices are so affordable. Happy to finally found a fantastic salon.

Amazing. I sent an email to book an appointment the night before and they were very accommodating. Laura was my stylist, she was very friendly and professional. My hair looks amazing I’m very happy with the results and she was very considerate of what I wanted. I will definitely go back!

I have been to xquisite a few times before. But yesterday was my first experience with Bhawani. And boy am I glad for it. Got a superb haircut done by her. I have pretty thin hair so I always end up feeling disappointed with my hair cuts the next day. They invariably fall just flat after the blow dry effect has worn off . But not this time. They look beautiful and I can't stop flipping them around. I would happily recommend her to everyone.

Really friendly service and nice place. Only complaint is that I find myself doing minor clean ups at home after. For example, the bottom of my hairline wasn’t trimmed completely when this could have been avoided by just being a bit more complete in the cut and going over the line a few more times and for the $38 you’d expect that level of service.

Sign on the front door says 'walk ins welcome, appointment not necessary'. I realise covid has made hair salons busier than usual but it looked virtually empty so I walked in and asked if there would be a spot available. Lou stares blankly at me and makes me feel like a complete idiot for asking the question, no engagement, no offer to ask what I needed done or to offer an alternative date. Have been a loyal client for years and years so it was extremely disappointing to be treated so dismissively and made to feel stupid.

I'm always nervous of trying a new hairdresser. But after being unable to wash my hair this week due to a dislocated shoulder and 5 months of avoiding trying anywhere new...I finally admitted to myself that I probably won't be back at my CBD salon any time sooooon! So I did a search for a hairdressers near me... And top rated. Last night I sent an email asking for an appointment at 11am. Got an email back saying could I do 11.45...yes! Awesome.The place is 5 mins from my house. Bonus. And the staff are lovely!Hair washed by the lady from Hull (Wish I could get a head massage like that EVERY DAY!!)Hair cut by the lovely Laura from Liverpool. I'm from Nottingham UK...so it was like a little northerners get-together.Laura blow-dried my hair so nicely that I nearly felt silly walking out in active wear topped off with bouncing curls! Looks awesome. I went straight home and changed into something more glamorous!!Thank you.

Absolutely love this place for 2 reasons - one, it's super close to where I live, which is something I very much appreciate, and two, I found my fave hairdresser in Sydney! She is absolutely friendly, gives the best, most relaxing hair washes, and has a good eye for colour mixes. Two thumbs up!
