McKay Creek Hydroelectric Power Station
Set in one of the most beautiful spots in the Vic High Country, this Hydroelectric Power Station has an awesome fall height from the Rocky Valley Reservoir, making it a stable power source all year round. The road to the power station isn’t open for public vehicles, but it’s an easy walk in when the roads aren’t snow covered. The feed pipes can be seen from the Bogong Alpine road just after the township of Bogong when heading up to Falls Creek.
