Booked for 10 people with only a couple of hours notice while driving down from Bendigo to catch up with family. Was warned that pub had mixed reviews. To be honest, was surprised and very happy with not only the service, but the food quality and menu options. Bistro was very clean which added to the experience. Would definitely go back. The only downside is the carpark you have to pay for, but I assume if they didn't do that, then it would be full from everyone parking to visit surrounding attractions, beach, etc. Good job overall!

I must say what an absolute joke, a group of 4 all over 50 being cut off after one drink at 10:00pm after a dinner out ! There is one particular bar staff member ( looks like Mimi from the Drew Carey show ) that’s clearly hates men and wants to punish everyone for her pathetic life, this has happened twice in a month and we won’t be returning ever again. The manager on another note was 24 and quite the smart arse with no intention on listening to anything anyone had to say. The Grand used to be such an institution in Frankston but has now gone to the dogs unfortunately.

We went here tonight as they have 50% off certain meals on weekdays at the moment. I was pleasantly surprised at how clean and renovated the place was (for some reason I had thought it was a dive) the staff were friendly and the service was excellent. The food was great, as good as any pub fare. Much better experience than my local pub, we will be back!

I really enjoyed my meal. I had the Chicken Kiev, which I could only describe as perfect. The service was friendly and quick. The reason I only gave a 3 star is my friend had the fish and chips which he said was frozen fish. I didn't try it so I can't confirm, but it did look like what you would buy in the frozen section of the supermarket. Also as a member I was able to get the pint of beer for $8. I originally wanted to get a pint of Coke, but that was $9.50. I have never seen a pub charge more for a Coke than alcohol before.

Haven't been here since I was a local 15+ years ago. They've done well to modernize the place without participating in the pretentious wankathon. Friendly staff and a decent feed.

We held our wedding ceremony and reception at The Grand on Saturday, but e could not fault this place at all, they made everything run so smoothly for our night, the food was amazing, the staff- so friendly and helpful, we would like thank Maddie our bartender for the night she did an outstanding job she was professional but yet funny :) and welcoming and Tanya the functions manager was just wonderful, we had the best night and would like to thankyou so much for giving us a night we will never forget. Thankyou so much again Lynda and Mark xx

Lovely service staff and pretty good food. Nothing fancy, but good pub grub and you gotta love their 2 for 1 deal. My flat head tails were really nice but the chips were heavy. My partner's green curry seafood stir fry was delicious and very generous.Certainly worth a try and amazing value.
