Brown Sugar Music

We had Brown Sugar Music and DJ Trey for our wedding and they were beyond perfection. When they did their first set, me and my husband were lost for words with how incredible they sounded. Miguel and Lady Lyric’s voices were insane! We all had an amazing time. Our guests loved them and had plenty of positive things to say about the band. Even the kids had an incredible time on the dance floor. Deni was also very friendly and patient from start to finish so I can’t thank him enough for organising everything, especially with our first dance song request. I highly recommend! I’ll find any and every reason to have them again for a next event.

We were so lucky to get these guys to our Wedding. They just knew what music to play at the right time and even during dinner got everyone's dancing shoes on. Being the most memorable day in our lives I can not thank enough how much these guys killed all the songs they sang and played. I could not imagine my wife and I's special day without you guys. Angel and Miguel you guys are so talented and I wish you guys continue to show off those amazing voices of yours to more people.

It's been one year since we had brown sugar at our wedding and everyone still mentions when they see us how amazing they were!!My wife and I knew we wanted them to perform ever since she saw them perform 10 years ago at her sister in law's wedding. Brown Sugar did my wife's 40th party. They were an absolute hit and made it a very memorable night. Thank you Deni and the band, you were amazing! Will be booking for the 50th! :)

We checked in with Brown Sugar before we even had our wedding venue locked down! We’ve been watching Brown Sugar for years and were fortunate enough to get them to play at our wedding.As soon as we mentioned to our friends that we managed to lock in Brown Sugar, they knew it was going to be an awesome party. Many guests who hadn’t previously heard them play commented on how amazing they were and it’s a testament to their talent that they are flown around the world to perform.You won’t find a nicer crew to work with – Deni was super easy going and very helpful. He took the time to meet up with us to gauge what we were after and a quick coffee turned into an hour and a half long chat like we were old mates.We gave a shortlist of songs that we like and they knew exactly what we were after - their musicality is on point and they cater for all ages. Angel and Miguel’s vocals are insane!Thanks for making our wedding night so incredible - can’t wait to see you guys perform again!

I had the pleasure of having Brown Sugar perform at my wedding and boy did they throw one hell of a party for us. They had our guests dancing and singing along from the very first track. I've watched Brown Sugar perform at Marble Bar for many years and it was a no brainer for me to have them on my special day. It was so easy and smooth dealing with the logistics and details leading up to the wedding with Deni. He took the time to meet with me and my husband to discuss suggested song lists and gave us lots of advice. They were so kind and happy to oblige to the dress code for the wedding and looked amazing on the day. These guys are absolute professionals and I love the way they can read, interact and work with the crowd. They honestly made the night more than we had ever dreamt of being and every one of our guests raved on at how amazing they were. Thank you for making our night perfect. Love you guys!

Brown Sugar were a stellar band to have play at our @CollaborOCEANS Kingdom Of Coral Exhibition on World Oceans Day held at Taronga Zoo. I would recommend them as they are smooth and cool and can also get the crowd involved as everything is seem less. Please support great Australian talent like Brown Sugar... go and book this quality and professional group for your next event.

Brown Sugar played at our wedding and were phenomenal! From the first enquiry to the end of the wedding they were all professional and efficient with communication and of course massively talented musicians. Their repertoire of soul, funk, R and B went down a treat with all the guests. We highly reccomend them!
