Cowley Smash Repairs

This business needs to be shut down. DO NOT take your car here, especially if you’re a woman. The owner is verbally abusive, extremely rude and is a scam artist. I sent my car here after someone crashed into me, he had it for 3-4 months, when I picked it up he said “I wanted to make sure it was perfect for you”. I noticed the car had parts missing, the car was running terribly so I took it back to him and he fixed 1 or 2 of the things, but not everything. I called to sort this out with him but he was became abusive. Upon inspection from the insurance company they advised there is still $5000 worth of repairs including a bent chassis, leaking radiator, paint drips and dimples, missing parts, broken aircon condenser, the car was completely unsafe to drive. I expected higher quality service, especially when my car is a classic v8 commodore and his photos on Facebook seem trustable.His response was that I’m a ‘c*nt’ for getting the insurance company to inspect my car, which is usual practice, they would have inspected it anyway without me asking. I was nothing but nice to him, even after he abused me yet he still continued to swear at me. I’m baffled and disgusted in the way he spoke to me.The insurance company have advised they will never use him again, stay away from this guy and chose a different shop.

Great service, communication and quality of work . I highly recommend.I've had my car repaired through Cowley Smash Repairs twice now. Once through insurance and the other privately. On both occasions I can not fault their service and quality of repairs. They handled all the emails and assessor as soon as I gave them my claim number and the car was back in the time frame they promised.Wouldn't go anywhere else!

Would keep away. Extremely poor customer relations and professionalism. Wasted 2 weeks of our time waiting for a quote. We took the car in on a Friday and they promised a quote on the Monday. When it didn't arrive by the Wednesday we gave them a call and they said they had sent it (they hadn't), but that they would resend it right then. After another week it still hadn't come through so we rang them and they said that they wouldn't give the quote unless we paid them money, which had never been mentioned before. When I told them they had never mentioned a payment they became quite rude and aggressive. We ended up going elsewhere extremely frustrated. We we to Greive Panelbeaters in Carlise who were absolutely fantastic.

Cowley smash repairs did a exceptional job on the repairs of my son's 4x4. Brett was very professional and had the job completed in only a couple of days. Highly recommended if you need any repairs or spray painting done. Thanks heaps again for top job.

I took my Toyota Camry in for a headlight restoration which was pretty bad. I was not ripped off there to have it done. They made my headlights like new and it didn't cost an arm and a leg to have it done. So all of you other aged pensioners if you need your headlights restored on your car that is the place to take your car too. I will be going back there when the headlights need to be redone again. Friendly, reliable, great workmanship, reasonable price

I'm sick of being ripped off by big panel shops whenever I need to get my car fixed. So this time I took my Audi to Cowley Smash and they did a great job. Very quick and reasonably priced as well. Highly recommend them.
