Canowindra Sports Oval
Had to pay to go in and watch our niece play football. The crowd was rude and disgusting towards the under 13s playing from Coonamble region not a good look nor behaviour Canowindra people for your town because the young girls won the game. Not an oval I would visit again.

Oval with lots of ovally features. All the facilities. Balloons heading off or landing during the festival, so lots of fun.

Canowindra Sports Oval
This was our first time at the Canowindra International Balloon Challenge (2019) and on the whole it was a very enjoyable experience. Plenty of parking provided close to the showground.Food stalls were plentiful along with many other market stalls. Live music provided entertainment as the evening kicked off. The parade of balloon burners is spectacular driving around the showgrounds with the flames leaping into the night sky. Once the balloons were inflated it was a real light show. The flames danced in time with the music lighting up the different coloured balloons. A must see event.

Typical country town sports facility. The facilities will see an upgrade in the near future.Toilets are clean but require lighting for safety.Lots of parking, easy access.
