Wright Design (WD) was engaged as the engineers to our renovation project.The following is our experience:WD failed to recognise that the garage slab they designed was over a pool that was to be filled in (as noted on architect’s plans) resulting in redesign and additional fees.WD failed to recognise that the concrete slab designed for the extension had a hydronic trench ( as noted in architect’s plans) resulting in redesign and additional fees.WD under engineered the upstairs floor of the extension resulting in us losing a designed void from ground floor to upper floor ( 6 metres in height) .Do I recommend them, draw your own conclusions.
