Helpful and friendly service by the staff. A wonderful little museum showing the past about the history of Mt Beauty since it began. A great rememberance area for local lads who fought in the Great War. Many photos to show the past times.

Friendly and resourceful lady, fantastic place to get to know and discover more about the area.Great displays on the history and geography of the area. Plenty of information, and lots of local products on offer for purchase.It was a lovely surprise to be able to visit an info centre/museum, not enough of them around.

Surprisingly excellent!!! They have a wealth of information about the area that most tourists couldn't imagine. From the indigenous heritage, to the Gold mining times to the hydro electric system that was the reason the town was formed. A real eye opener. Excellent displays and a very helpful lady behind the desk.

Wow, wish I had checked this place out better!! Very interesting and a lovely set up for visitors to the region. Lots of wonderful local produce, art and other things are there for the buying. A must have if visiting the area. A shout out to the lovely, friendly, go that extra mile, young lady receptionist, who was brand new and yet fixed the problem with my voice ticket quickly and efficiently and with a big smile the whole time. All employers want this young ladies type. You go girlfriend. Mxox

This an absolute must stop for Mount Beauty. We went in looking for information on the walks however we got much more than that, has wonderful displays of the history of Mount Beauty, we spent an hour and could have spent two here. Very well designed and a credit to the team who put it all together. History of the people, power, land, traditional owners… fascinating stuff, even for the kids.

Very helpful, so much to do around here. We cycled to pebble beach, mermaid ponds and hiked up to the canyon. A glorious day of creek swimming, highly recommend..

The staff are friendly and helpful. We saw an informed presentation on the area both movie and then an interesting talk on the hydro power station up inThe Victorian alpine area. The volunteer staff member had an amazing knowledge and kept us all interested the whole time. Well worth a visit
