This one's difficult. Food was cooked perfectly, steak lacked flavour but only as it was likely grain fed. Kids meals took an additional hour to come out after being re-ordered 2 times.Venue was advised we would have large crowd in but didn't seem to put any additional staff on. Drinks were pretty steep. Even non alcoholic ones for the kids.Staff while short of were very courteous, special for the night (lamb shanks) ran out after what I saw was 4 meals.Over all it seems like a great pub which I just seemed to catch that 1 off bad experience at - still leaves an under valued feeling

Great steak sandwich! Not much room for seating ! Apart from beer garden you may have to eat at bar! Nice fire thow!

No coffee machine. Disappointed and very surprised for a meals venue.Lovely wood fire, in public bar only. Would make dining room feel more ambient if duplicated there instead of air con.

Stopped in on the way home for a couple of Parmis. Excellent quality scratch made food and friendly service. Very reasonable prices too. Cheaper than in the big smoke.Highly recommended!

New owners are doing a great service. The manager was approachable and near. The food is still delicious. Your country pub hospitality and food continue here at Brunswick WA. Chase the Ace is busy on a Thursday but they soon leave when the winner is found. A lovely family-friendly tavern.

Had the Steak sandwich which they were ordered the best award to.The totally deserved it, the atmosphere is second to none and a bloody great staff.I walked up to the bar on my crutches due to a broken leg and a staff member didn't hesitate to take it out to the garden bar where I was sitting......thanks again mate.We will certainly be back there soon, and I suggest if you are ever heading South or North pop in here for a nice cold beer and a meal on your way, you won't be disappointed
