Altona Sports Club

I have been going to the Bistro here for years.The experience varies a little depending on what day and time you go. The venue has entertainment some nights and can be a bit louder and busier as a result.While this isn't fine dining, the food is always well prepared, tasty and reasonably priced. I've never had a meal here I didn't enjoy.Orders are prepaid at the counter and delivered to your table by staff.Minor inconveniences are the bar being located in a separate area to the bistro, and the need to sign in. Though, they have a convenient driver's license reader now, which makes it a breeze.It also has great views, ample parking, several bar areas and is suitable for families.I'm giving it 5 stars for being a great pub/club experience.

Great local sports club, has plenty of entertainment on the weekends be it a band or sports. Great staff and decent food, most people not aware there's a free minibus which will pick you up and drop you off, under 7s not allowed though which is less convenient as they have a great play area for the kids.

Got the $35 seafood platter.Most was over cooked.No fresh seafood.Everything on the plate was out of a box that you can buy at Safeway.So not happy.

I’ve been coming here for years & everything about this place is top notch. Where else could you see free fantastic music, get a great meal at a great price with wonderful views of the bay in a clean, family - friendly environment?I cannot recommend this place more highly.

You have to queue to order food which was very long.Lots of gluten free options, which is fab, but the creamy sauce with the gnocchi was a bit rich for me.

The Altona sports club is the place to go for your night out. Free entertainment, good food and well priced drinks.Staff and Security is very friendly and the venue is just so clean and comfortable.Sign up for $5 to become a member and you will receive a free drink on your birthday.I highly recommend everyone to come and check this place out, you will not be disappointed.

Firstly I haven't been here in years, pleasantly surprised by the new restaurant meals with no comparison to the others in our area. Jeremy our waiter his costumer service was 100 percent it is very rare you find someone happy to serve and do extra for their patrons I was in hospitality management for 13 years and if I was still in the industry I would of pouched him in a heart beat.. Food was exquisite compliments to the chef.
