My 2005 Mazda truck engine died on me, i was convinced i had to spend $50,000 on a new truck when a friend recommended getting my engine reconditioned at ARA . i was hesitate at first but for the 10th of the cost of a new truck my truck is running as well as it did when i bought brand new 16 years ago. Pass as far as u can!Advertising says 3500 to do the enginePriced 5750,00 when towed the van thereFinished in 7.000,00 and engine left there smoking. They told was one little valve that cost 26,00 dollars (they asked me to buy as not included hahaha)After all, van keep putting oil level down and smoking.They will give you like a log book and ask you to email all the service receipts each 5000kms to have guarantee.

Long story short, failed engine in a Hyundai that had done just over 90k. As this was my wife's car I wanted to make sure that the engine was reliable, so rather than install a second hand engine I opted to have the engine completely rebuilt.The cost was more than I wanted to spend, however from what I saw of the work during the rebuild stage of the engine the build looks to be of a very high standard.Ara was very thorough with the engine and can confirm that the Engine started first turn of the key. It does not blow smoke and better still runs smoother than it ever has before. Still early days yet, but so far I am very happy with the result. Thanks Ara.

I can only describe my experience with ARA as a nightmare.From the receptionist to the delivery of my engine to the quality of their work, just abysmal.it took 3 months for them to get my engine ready, only for it to last 7000 kms before needing replacement.I paid ARA $4279 to reco my engine, it lasted 7000 kms and died, I contacted ARA and their receptionist wanted nothing to do with it, Tamar basically hung up on me.I called back and Ara spoke to me, he said it didn’t matter how many kms I got from the engine, once it’s passed the 6 month warranty period they aren’t liable.They give you a 6 month warranty, 7000 kms from a reconditioned engine is dismal.Currently seeking assistance with fair trading.
