Beautiful place & actually clean of rubbish. Yet still some people think it's ok to throw litter along the tracks.

Moroka Hut is one of the more beautiful huts in Vic. It’s architectural, situated in a beautiful spot and within metres of the fresh water Moroka River. At dusk you’re bound to see wombats. I love there is no vehicle access (it’s a short 250m walk-in from the car park - look out for the native frogs) which seems to minimise the rubbish compared to other huts.Note the weather, like the entire Alpine National Park, can change quickly - the photos below were 25mins apart.

Beautiful location, little bit of a trek in. You can camp here but would only be suitable for hikers as you're too far away from vehicle access.

Great place to visit if in the area. 4x4 access only, no camping at the hut. Only a short walk from the parking area, about 250 meters. Been visiting the hut for over 30 years. Great to see it is still there in 2019.

Beautiful hut and area to visit. Short walk from where you can park your car. Nice little river there too.

Been a long time since I called in here.its beautiful more than I remember. Just off the road it's well worth the look at how our mountain cattle men lived in the high plains. Raising cattle and looking after the land as their fathers and grandfather's had.Don't drive past. Stop and admire
