Great place to stay, rooms were ok , comfortable beds , shared bathrooms were clean and modern, great hot water pressure, friendly staff and great to have a night cap downstairs

Good country pub, friendly service and fun local regulars. Basic beer, wine and spirit selection. TV screens. A couple of different areas to settle in plus OK Chinese Restaurant.

Best Chinese in Temora very friendly staff and excellent food. We get our takeaway from here at least once a month, we live half hour out of town and come to town to do our shopping. Even better than Wagga Wagga. Thank you so much.

Stayed 2 nights. First night we went out for dinner and got back to our room bellowing out smoke, the heater had just been filling the room up & the fire alarm was not working! We tried relentlessly to call someone but office was closed and could not find an emergency number. So having no choice but to stay. We turned of a/c heater and had to have the door open for ages to clear the air, mind you I have a newborn and we're from QLD so the subzero temperatures are not so friendly. We spent most of the night unable to sleep because of the cold. Then next day we informed staff , hoping we'd get moved to a room with a working heater. But no they just gave us a little tiny dodgy heater and said they would get someone to look at it. I had to stay 2night because, I'd already paid for 2 and I literally spent the last of my money on accommodation, no one ever come to look at it. So we had to spend both nights freezing. And to top it off this morning I look in my bank to see they have charged me for another 2 nights yesterday(without permission) I've been back in QLD for over a month since! obviously with my experience I wouldn't stay there again.

CHINESE RESTAURANTAbsolutely TERRIBLE customer service!!!Was greeted by a lady staring at me and my family like we were aliens.Once seated she came over, again looking at us awkwardly like she had seen a ghost or something and took our entree order.Then returned to the table one minute later with a eftpos machine in hand wanting payment!!!After explaining we still wanted to order mains she insisted on payment for our entrees first..We declined and told her we would just leave with her response Being, ok fine..ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE !!!!!!

We didn’t stay here but dropped by to have a Chinese meal as it was the nearest to our campsite. We’re vegetarians so simply asked for “stir-fried vegetables in sweet and sour sauce” and the “vegetable chow mein”. What we were served was two plates of identical - and I mean IDENTICAL - soggy vegetables in an indescribable gunky sauce. The only way we could differentiate between the two was because the “chow mein” came with crispy noodles. So this is no reflection on the hotel staff or accommodation but if the Shamrock wants to lift its game it should get rid of these people as quickly as possible.
