It was very expensive for what you get, My car wasn't even clean after spending over $19! It's extortion! It's difficult to drive into and you are forced to exit via MyCar repair shop driveway. Also when I paid I requested a receipt which I didn't get!* EDIT AFTER CAR LOVERS REPLY:Clearly you didn't read my review I didn't get a receipt because your payment machine doesn't work properly! I am not the only person reporting your laser wash doesn't wash your car and have trouble with receipts.Also, what can you do once the car has gone through the wash. I don't have to provide you with anything. I am basing my review on the transaction and service received at the time. I do not have to contact you to fix anything because that is the service I received. Don't come on here asking for my personal information so you can bully me. You have a terrible service offering and you know it that's why you're being defensive.Own it.Do something about it.Pick up your game.Stop bullying customers for their honest reviews!

Coin machine worked atound 1am when i went but only take cash. The 1st bay when i washed with coin, the car machine was working. When i wanted to pay with a card, it went out of service. Had to move the car to the other bay to finish washing. Hectic, but pressure and soap wash not bad.

I had my car washed today full detail automatic. Still dirty. Run your finger on the paint and just peals the dust away. Not happy at all. I have used it before no issues.

Used the laser car wash, paid $22 for a deluxe wash and the car is still dirty. Very disappointed and won’t be using again.

These people will do the most possible to not give your money back. I went and paid for an ultimate wash. The machine was obviously broken so ontop of the $22 I had to pay an extra 10 and finish the job in the self service bays myself. I was offered 2x free ultimate washes but as I said to them I didn't want to come back and I simply wanted my money back.I will now be contacting the accc as this is not fair on customers.I am also aware that I will probable get some snarky response from the owner or manager but I did offer them a chance to not have me write this review.I will say it here publicly if you want to call me and discuss giving me my money back (and follow through) I will take this review down .

I've been coming here with my 4 cars for over 5 years, not sure if it's taken new ownership but the high pressure soap seems to take a whole minute to activate and when it does it comes out so watery that you might as well hose it down on your front lawn for free.One star because this place used to be an amazing carwash...just disappointingReview edit:Received a disappointing copy and paste reply, showing the disregard to detail and customer service.The reply asked: 1. I've often used car lover's in Wollongong, the car wash is quick and effective and the vacuum cleaner has good suction , prices creeping up a bit but I suppose in these times it's natural.

Paid $22 for the ultimate car wash. The high pressure under car turned off before getting through. The fancy coloured foam only goes over the driver side. Rims don’t get washed at all… NOT SO ULTIMATE!!

I went to Wollongong Car lover’s yesterday and I understand that there has to be some rules in place to keep all the cars running smoothly but not long after you arrive the staff are in your face about the rules and fair enough but they went to the extent of knocking on my bonnet to tell me “you can’t detail” when I was wiping crumps off my seat before vacuuming.I want to add that they sell detailing products but if you buy it you have to go elsewhere to detail and they actually tell you this. It didn’t bother me because I was there just for a wash and vacuum but If that doesn’t say stingy I don’t know what would.If Anyone is wanting a clean car with no headaches, I suggest you either go at night time when the staff aren’t there to harass you or you go to another Car Lover’s because you never really drive out of car lovers Wollongong with a clean car because you aren’t allowed to dry so as soon as you start driving dust and anything sticks to the wet carTo try find a positive in this experience the auto car wash was quick and did an alright job.

The automatic wash does a great job. $19 for the basic wash.
