Alpine Beach

I'm a returning customer to this store. For the last several years we have bought ski's, boards, boots and clothing for our snow trips. The staff have always been incredibly helpful and easy to deal with. Today they went above and beyond to help us out of a sticky situation that they were under no obligation to do at all. The gentleman I dealt with was lovely. Its such exemplary service that will keep us coming back each year to get our gear.

The team at alpine beach were nice when we initially went in - bought my husbands snowboard boots here. Any issues they said they’d sort it out - but then didn’t honour their returns policy. When we had bindings fitted with a more knowledgeable store the next day, they noted that the boots were too long and narrow for his foot and wouldn’t last him more than a few days boarding - also were too long for the board so overhang was an issue. Had to get new boots fitted properly, and when we went back to Alpine Beach 6 days later they refused to refund us - even though this very clearly went against the return policy they advertise on their website. Staff were rude and rolled their eyes at me in front of my husband and other customers. Wouldn’t dream of shopping here for our gear again, so disappointing when you expect staff to know what they’re doing!

Really impressed with the service and knowledge shared from Dave when purchasing a new board and bindings. Great attitude and really knows his stuff.

I have had nothing but excellent service from Dave at Alpine. I'm based in NZ and ordered a custom surfboard through Dave, I received the board today in absolutely perfect condition and exactly what I was looking for. Great communication along with their service...I will be purchasing from Alpine again in the future

Have never left a review for a business before but received such great service here that I had to make a first!The staff were more than happy to constantly run back and forth while I kept trying on different snowboard boots. Very knowledgeable and helpful with all my questions for boots, jackets, pants, goggles etc.Will be back soon! Cheers!

Had the best service from Dave and he followed up my order and always contacted me and let me know the progress without me having to contact him first ! Great service and prices ! Way better than up the road at ESS

Chilled out, nice & helpful staff, pretty noice selection. Would love more range, but still have a good variety for snow needs. Got a my Bib & Jacket from here and have used them non-stop, no issues at a good deal! Definitely a NEED to stop before a snow trip

Some of the best customer service we've experienced in a long time. The staff here are absolutely lovely. Nothing is a hassle. Knowledge of their products is second to none. Range of stock is excellent and great quality.

A bit of a delayed review but these guys really do deserve 5 stars.I ordered a pair of Faction Prodigy skis in July with a hope of getting a few days on the slopes in this season but unfortunately lockdown put an end to that.Nevertheless my fantastic new pair of skis arrived in a matter of days in Perfect condition!!!Alpine Beach was efficient, professional and had exactly what I was looking for.
