The worst customer service ever. They unduly charged us a one way fee wich was included in our voucher. We never got the invoice at the office and 6 months after we are still fighting for the money back. I would go somewhere else if I were you or do not leave the office without the invoice, otherwise you may get charged for whaterver they like.

Probably the worst location to drop a car off. Had to drive in circles to figure out where to drop off the car, had to park and walk in to ask where the actual drop off was...which was secluded in a Woolworths parking lot way at the back with zero signage. To top it all off, I was charged over $5/L for the little bit of fuel I had to use driving in circles.Ended up paying almost doubled with insurance and hidden costs added in.Never again.(The included picture shows NO signage for Avis drop off)

Incredibly disappointed with drop off service. There was no mention to me when picking up the car or on thier website as to where you drop the car off in Airlie Beach. I tried calling and could not get through. I was in a time crunch and had a 5month old strapped to me. I parked where I found was closest but it was a 15min car park. Jay at the desk was incredibly rude and unsympathetic. There was no offer to help me move the car only that I had to put my baby back in the car and move it or I would get fined. I would not recommend this service and Jay needs some lessons in customer service.

Really cranky! Just got a $176 fine for parking in the 'wrong' spot when I dropped the car off. AVIS Airlie didn't even pass the fine on so it doubled from $88. There were no signs for the dropoff spot. Thanks guys

Would not recommend Avis to my worst enemy. I get back from holidays to see on my bank statement the money for car hire has been takin out twice. ( Over 2 weeks of later) my bank is now in a minus thanks to this AND I'm still waiting on my $200 deposit to be returnedAvid customer service were no help. And quite rude mumbling under his breath saying ' oh my god' can't ubder stand why U won't take cash and all this rubbish wouldn't have happened ....never again. And I will be persuing it further with acc
