I find QBD generally to be over priced, considering that ppl will now buy online, get audible and the trusted kindle.However, what QBD does well are their sales. Got some great bargains here today.I must say…personally I am not a fan of their paid rewards program. However., it is what it is.

Regular weekly purchases from history to business. Self help etc. Good range of new titles in all categories.The staff are all courteous and friendly. Can't fault the service.

QBD Books Australia Fair
I always come here whenever I want to buy books since it is the only bookstore that I know. The staff are very friendly, although they can do better. What I mean is that they can do better at engaging with customers. I've got an ssue with the store, however. It's pretty small... The selections are often limited, so the way to get the books I want that are not in their bookshelves is through ebooks. Staff should be more engaging, as in talking with the people more. Like asking their names or what they're up to. Well, these are just my suggestions.

The staff are amazing (especially Imogen. Promote her). Dropped in to look for a second in a series, recommended 5 other series that they thought we would like, 2 of which are my absolute favorites. Picked amazingly, really know their stuff, awesomely friendly. Would recommend.

Very small store. Very crowded. Hard to social distance if some one else was in the same isle. Very dark. Staff where having a private conversation. Did not acknowledge or ask if I needed any help. Bit disappointing.

Great for purchasing books and Australian Geographic products. Wide selection in a quiet store. Staff a bit occupied in conversation but were friendly enough when they served.
