Crown Currency Exchange (Chirnside Park)

Very polite helpful senior discount situated inside centre near K Mart.

I went to exchange 37,000 JPY to AUD and I received $453.72 AUD. After I deposited the cash I received a phone call from this place and I was told the transaction was wrong and needed to go back asap. The person who served me asked me to refund $100 as I was only supposed to get $350. So I explained that I already deposited the money in the bank and I wanted to pay back the total AUD by credit card or cash and get my 37,000 JPY back because the rate was a lot worse than I expected. However I was not allowed to do either and asked to go withdraw the cash difference and pay them back. I was running late at that point and did so. I understand mistakes happen every now and then but I should have been allowed to cancel the whole transaction especially since this happened because of their fault.. I would like to discuss the issue with the manager here.

Not sure why I was offered 9000 VND for one AUD when the going rate is 15,000. I understand that they have to make a profit, but not at nearly 50%.
