I really loved the wonderful wood barbecues. Unfortunately, many of the wood BBQs around Brisbane are disappearing or in very poor, rusty condition. However, two of the four Ironbark Gully BBQs are in great shape. It is terrific to be able to have a bush cooking experience in suburban Brisbane. I just hope they aren't replaced with electric ones anytime soon!

Very clean and new picnic spot. Nice little park with play equipment. Electric BBQs and undercover picnic tables.Lots of friendly magpies and butcher birds too.

This is a great place to walk and also mountain bike. I don't mountain bike so cannot give anygood advice on it, except to say I see lots of bikes. But for walking tracks this place has a heap. They have all recently been signed. There are a lot of tracks so take different ones, not too many really steep hills but good enough. Generally this place is not to crowded, lots of bikes and the Sat and Sun mornings and people at the picnic areas. The trails you see a few people and their dogs. I have seen Koalas 3 times in 3 years and a few kangaroos.

Ive been going here for close on 40yrs now. Its great to have a woodfired bbq rather than hohum gas bbqs. They provide wood most of the time but if you want to be safe bring a few bits of your own. There are bbqs scattered throughout the area and most have a shed with seat and table. Theres toilets with space to kick a football. Parking is often close by. If you want some hiking activities there are a variety of tracks and firetrails throughout the park.

a nice bushwalk but very short. it says about 35 minutes for the circuit but we did it in about 20. free to park there and dog friendly (on leash). there's a barbecue area and plenty of tables and benches.

Fantastic and very well maintained mountain bike trails of varying difficulties. Tough climb but well worth it for the run down!

Great bit of green space with trails and kookaburras! There's no park or play equipment so bring your own if you want a specific activity to do. The toilets are situated up the hill, up the stairs- took me a while to find.
