We have had ongoing intermittent issues with our Jeep Grand Cherokee. We had the turbo replaced by a different mechanic as that was what the scanner said was wrong. Not even 3 months later and the same issue was back with the same reading. We needed someone to look past the scanner / computer and actually LOOK at the car. CJD Motors did exactly that, found bare wires that were intermittently touching the car body and earthing out causing all sorts of issues with the computer!! Fantastic service and pricing with real problem solving skills. Thank you so much for everything.

Went to CJD Motors a few days ago to get some advice about why the Start/Stop has stopped working on my 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited (25th Anniversary Edition). I noticed it after I had it serviced at City Jeep a couple of weeks ago. Anyway, I went to CJD Motors and had the pleasure of speaking to Sabi the manager. He took a look at the batteries under the driver's seat and within 3 to 5 mins, it was working. I don't know what he did, but it started working. The Jeep dealership that had the car all day last week (when I took it back to them to fix the problem) couldn't fix it. I have been searching the internet about this particular issue/problem, and from what I've read, this is a fault that Jeep Grand Cherokees and some other models have. Jeep will only tell you that you must drive it differently, change your driving parameters"

I first dealt with CJD back in August 2022, when my Jeep Cherokee needed some work for the left drive shaft, oil filter housing needing replacement, left rear differential seal. All these issues were listed by Jeep's service department barely two months prior to calling CJD, and given it's a Jeep it was costly to do the work at Jeep. I have reached out to CJD to get a quote and see how much it would cost to fix, and I ended up saving $300 fixing my car at CJD, with all genuine Jeep/Mopar parts. And I couldn't be happier with their work.While this was done, I was advised by CJD that the car was reporting an error (when they scanned it), and there was a noise coming from the engine, but couldn't precisely tell unless they took it apart. Mind you, just barely two months ago, the car was serviced at Jeep and they didn't even mention it, granted the issue might have happened after the service, which I doubt, because I too was noticing the car vibrating strongly when the start/stop function was in use (after having serviced the car).Afterwards, I took it to Jeep for diagnosis, costs $150 for that, and they admitted there was a noise from the eigne and they suspect it was the camshaft, but needed to take it apart to confirm, so I ended up paying another $900 for that, and they confirmed it was the camshaft. Fixing it was going to cost $3,500 ($1,600 for parts and $1,900 for labour).Took the car back to CJD and they advised if they were to do it, it would actually cost more, around $5,000. The difference? Is because Jeep was only going to replace the camshaft, but since the camshaft collapsed, metal fragments had entered the engine and it would have caused further issues down the track, and CJD was going to take the engine apart to clean those fragments.A mate of mine knows two mechanics and I asked him to reach out for their opinions and they confirmed exactly what CJD had informed me. Replacing the camshaft alone was not going to solve the issue and engine needed cleaning as well.Therefore, I ended up sourcing a relatively new engine (from one of the wreckage sites) and had asked CJD to replace the engine which they did. And in total it cost more than the $3,500 I was quoted at Jeep, but at least I know I am using a cleaner engine.And, what an amazing job CJD did. Not only did they change the engine, but they also inspected the engine to see if there's anything wrong with it, even though it wasn't their responsibility since the engine is sourced from someplace else.They also finished the work a week earlier than estimated, especially that it's a big job during a busy period.I couldn't be happier to have gone back to CJD and have them work on my car again, also dealing with Sabi and Sunny is fun, the guys are personable with a sense of humour, and most importantly, do an amazing job and actually care about you and your car.
