It's not the best in Ballarat its a shame it's so expensive.. it's not as good as it was..

I don’t bother walking in now. Such a shame so many beautiful things but so overpriced. Often not accepting donations, no wonder. Over priced stock doesn’t move, if prices were halved it would be more realistic and have a much higher turnover. Staff were not friendly at all, didn’t bother to say hello and were not helpful.

Called ahead of time while driving to pick up a furniture item on hold for a family member, as I was going to be arriving right around closing time. I asked the lady on the phone if I could still pick my items up if I arrived a couple minutes late, and she told me that they closed at 5:30 but to see how you go". So I pulled into the carpark at exactly 5:30

This Salvos is better than the Ballarat one and Wendouree one. Salvos Wendouree is the worst, Ballarat one is too small, this one won easily. Store is big with variety items, can find interesting things sometimes. I only give 4 stars because items are more expensive and over priced than other op shops such as Uniting and Vinnies.

Not much stock today, got abit of everything, but not much changes. Prices are in the mid range!!

Believe we have found the coldest store in Australia. No heating at all and goods are way overpriced. Staff are ok..especially the younger ones but one older, plump, little woman with blonde hair just rushes around a bit hyper and greets you with How Ya Goin"....no eye contact. Considering they get all goods for free and free labour

What a great system for dropping off donations. So easy to pull up right there at the door and friendly staff to help you. Keep up the great work guys!!

Great range of items to choose from, really well laid out store.

Love coming here and always great bargains but none of the clothing is sorted into sizes so it takes forever just to find anything that might fit. Also some things which you'd think would be more expensive such as clothes are pretty cheap but things like children's books are $3 to $4 each which I can get from Kmart for brand new for about $5.

Make sure you check prices online before buying. They had a bootleg Beatles record for sale for $120, I looked it up online and it was selling for $2. They also had an Australian Crawl record selling for $25, selling for $4 online. They also had a drum machine selling for $110, online it was $30. I mentioned the drum machine to a staff member who told me they had bought the same one from ALDI for $70. I think whoever is pricing is seeing brands, or in this case bands, that they have heard of and so marking prices up. I say this because I found a Nana Mouskouri best of record they were selling for $4, the person pricing obviously didn't think much of Nana, FYI that record goes for over $60 online. So, while you can definitely find a bargain, a lot of the prices are way off and massively overpriced. Be careful.
