Greenvale Animal Hospital

Recently visited with my dog Chloe. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff who are always there to guide you in all facets of caring for your pets. The staff treat your pets as if they were their very own. Highly recommended!

Was impressed by how kindly and professionally the team treated our dog’s injuries as well as our anxieties. A lovely & friendly clinic who take great pride in their work. Squeezed me in at the last minute for my pup who woke up with a nasty ear infection that was causing her a lot of discomfort. Vet, Dr. Chanel and Vet Nurse, Anna, were kind, gentle, knowledgeable and playful with my dog which lifted her spirits greatly. My dog absolutely hates having her ears swabbed, but both girls did the job seamlessly!

The staff are always so friendly and we’ve only had positive experiences over the years with our dogs here.The staff and vet’s we’re so great when we lost our almost 16 year old dog a few week ago.

Took my cat who seemed very unwell in as it was the nearest place. She wasn’t well overnight but I did not suspect anything serious. I took her to the vet in the morning. I felt as though time was crucial at this point because she started to appear placid and was cold. Once we got there, a nurse checked her and told me she was in shock and unresponsive and she might not make it. She told me to go to the emergency hospital in essendon as the vets were busy with others. She advised me the cost of the health check shortly after. They took their mighty time to take the payment. It was all so slow considering they believed she was about to die. Actually, my cat was dying and they really didn’t seem to care. I acknowledge that she may have not made it either way, but I would have liked them to at-least have tried to help as we were already there instead of sending us to emergency with such little time. Perhaps use whatever resources and expertise to help her with her condition or just tell me it was over. Sometimes, all you want is to know you tried or they tried. I rushed with the hope that something can be done.Imagine being so concerned with a payment to be made, just to tell me my cat was gonna die, then take the time to fix that payment, and your pet actually dies, perhaps due to the lack of time.The emergency hospital was incredibly compassionate and warm towards us. They looked out for us and comforted us. They did not charge a single scent for anything. Even after attempt of cpr for some time. Just wish I had knowledge of this beautiful place prior. Extremely professional and responsive.I came here because i trusted them most and it was the closest place that I knew of that may be able to help. It felt cold and disconnected. It hurts sooo much. What hurts more is replaying the way this vet responded to what was clearly a critical situation.Even if they couldn’t, a little compassion. Or even a more responsive time. Incredibly slow, inconsiderate and more concerned with the bill.Really upset :(

I had to have my 19 year old best friend put to sleep. Nicole and the staff made a heartbreaking event into a peaceful and beautiful goodbye. Have been going here for 3 years now and will continue to do so with my other furbabies. Thank you

Have always taken our cat there, Dr Nicole is the best when it comes to giving time and understanding your pets problem,.she goes out of her way to find solutions and discusses options in detail. Probably the best Vet we have seen so far.

The best experience I could have possibly asked for! My little puppy ( the first dog I have owned) broke his leg, in a panic I rushed to Greenvale Hospital and from the moment I walked in I felt that he was put in the best possible care. The nurses were so so lovely to deal with, so caring and very knowledgeable! I have never experienced such professionalism whilst being so kind and caring. Could not recommended them more!!

Bad symptoms finding and just money making spot, we seeks alternative, it was ways cheaper and more caring for animals in general, in breife, bottom line we lost our beloved cat..

I am so happy with how Dr Deborah treated both my cats Keith & Barbara recently.She has a lovely calming manner and was sympathetic to the fact that I'm sometimes nervous to medicate them.She discussed all the options in detail with us and I'm happy to report both my cats are feeling better! Also I really appreciated the follow up calls from Micheala and the rest of the team.Thank you so much! Lizzy
