Customer service is non existent battery needed to be replaced they told me battery could not be replaced did a bit of research and found pendantIn China they to did not want to supply batteryOnly if I wanted to purchase bulk pendants I ended up finding battery and it was plug and play for $12Is that how you serve the elderly discracefull youSuck

Everyone here seems to write glowing reviews here, but I have to disagree. I have found the (after sale) service non existent. I purchased this alarm mostly for the fall detection, as I had a few bad falls lately. Otherwise I am fit. I received it on a Friday and by the end of the weekend I have had at least 10 false fall alarms (including one for placing it over my neck in the morning, and several sitting down in my chair) My contacts are sick and tired of all the false alarms. They all told me to send it back and to stop wearing it in the meantime.They don't read their emails (told me they were too busy!) and don't answer the phone 90% of the time. Nor do they return calls. They supposedly made my device less sensitive, but after that, it went off when I drove over a speed hump. It also used up all my phone allowance for the year over the 4 days of false alarms. The sound quality on it was also shocking, couldn't understand anyone (they could hear me fine). They told me to send it back, which I did. It arrived back a few days later, without a note to explain what, if anything they have done to it.I have lost all faith in this device and just want to return it.Not happy, Jan!

Purchased the 4g alarm for my grandmother. The customer service team was excellent and have always been available to answer all our questions. Michelle and Em were very lovely and helpful with technical support. This device has saved my grandmother's life twice. Highly recommend it.

The staff were really nice and honest when we were trying to make our decision. We went with medi alarm honestly because of that. Every time we call for any questions, they go out of their way to help us. I wish i remembered the young lady's name. The device has been working well, we adjusted the fall detection so mum was more comfortable with it. Medi alarm people helped us do that, not hard at all. Haven't needed to change anything else since. Great purchase.

Medi alarm was a god send when we needed one for my mother in law after she had fallen down the stairs one evening and laid there with a broken hip for over 4 hours on the cold tiles. This lady is fit & active, so we didn’t for a minute think she needed one. But it only takes a slip on the stairs and when living alone this can be fatal. We are so happy with medi alarm. It is reliable and the service from Paula has been great. She will talk you through the set & my mother in law is very happy to wear it.

I purchased the MediAlarm Pro 4G just 2 weeks ago. It arrived within days, despite difficult times during this pandemic. Although I'm only 63 years old, I purchased this device for peace of mind, as I'm soon to move into a '3' storey townhouse, and was worried about what would happen if I (heaven forbid) fall down the stairs at some stage. (The townhouse has it's own elevator also - I'm not silly - but I don't want to use this until I need to, when no longer able to navigate stairs).I had a couple of initial queries. My 2 phonecalls were answered immediately by Russell,, resolved very quickly, and confirmed with a follow up email - all within the space of a couple of hours.Russell was very patient, calm and professional - and I'm very pleased with the end result.This is an AMAZING peace of technology, which gives both myself AND my family great peace of mind. Well worth the initial fairly high cost, and the low ongoing cost of just $45 per year.Thank you Russell - and thank you MediAlarm - SUPER happy.HINT 1. In my situation, I have put myself as Contact No 1. as it is only that contact that may alter any settings on the device eg Daylight savings time alteration, change of contacts, etc without having to disturb either my son, or MediAlarm.HINT 2. On pg 7 of the booklet received with the device, the command stated for changing the time on the device, is not correct. Hopefully this will be rectified for future purchasers - but Russell also resolved this issue for me very quickly.
