Love the shop but unfortunately had a bad experience with the cafe. We had done shopping in store and went to put it back in the car and my Nan who is a diabetic had extremely low blood sugars and was becoming unwell. I figured if I could get her back inside wholefoods we could find something at the cafe to boost her back up before she passed out. I explained what had happened to the barista. Told to go wait at the table for tableside service. I explained her condition again and how she needs to get her levels up quickly. Got an eye roll and he told someone else to come serve us. The girl was unhappy about serving us and also wanted us to wait at the table where there was only one waitress. I explained again her condition and how she needs something quickly reluctantly they let her order there but they let us know they were annoyed over it. It was a very uncomfortable experience but To be fair I don't think they actually understand what diabetes can do

I love this place so much! Mark and Liam on the door on Sundays are honestly two of the nicest people here.There is a really great range of products and quite often business owners who sell here will come in so customers can meet them. The prices are what you would expect for an organic type shop however there are regular good deals to be found!

Beware that the cafe here has changed and is no longer vegan. They are plant based" which basically means they can offer whatever they like since it's not "vegetarian" (but currently is

One of the best places for pretty much everything! Their food is mouthwatering and they have so many options for gluten free and vegan! Their tumeric latte, one of the best ones on Earth! Shops and accessories are amazing as well and it's just the only store you need to live with!

What can I say......the food in the cafe is delicious and extremely healthy. Staff in the cafe are friendly and helpful. There is an abundance of fresh produce and anything and everything to do with a healthy lifestyle( supplements, herbs , homeopathic's, skincare, natural cleaning products and so much more) . Staff are happy to assist if needed.

Completely unexpected find! After a brief walk through this looks like a great place to find organic and healthy food options, as well as a bit of extra stuff. I did notice some things looked a bit on the pricey side, but that is pretty normal for this type of organic wholefoods shop. I really wish we could get this quality of healthy organic food without paying the extra premium!I'll be back. :)

I discovered Wholefoods Merchants on the weekend, and I'm so glad I did! There is such a huge range of organic and gluten-free food, as well as vegetarian and vegan options - there's seriously something for everyone.The staff are so friendly and helpful, and the samples of food at the entrance is a great way to introduce new products. Well done on an awesome store - I'll be back :-)

As a health food store - they never fail to deliver with an extensive range of products. Some items are decently priced whereas some others aren’t.It’s nice having almost everything in one place and a reason as to why I choose to shop here.The cafe is a lot better than years prior (that I decided to give a miss) with a diverse menu, catering to both healthy and unhealthy options. Although, of all places, it’s unexpected that the smoothies are ordinary and honestly require a bit of a change up.

Wholefoods is a suprising healthy gem hidden off Burwood Hwy. You can walk in and have certainty that the products in this store are of the highest quality. Yes, bit pricey, but worth paying for the convenience that someone else has done the hard work to analyse the authenticity of what the label says.

To start off i went to have a coffee. I stood there for ages with 3 or 4 people completely ignoring my existence. When asked where to order I got a “it’s table service” with a rude facial expression. Thankfully the girl that took us to our table was absolutely wonderful, very friendly and helpful. Coffee was good. Ordered a pie and a soup. Both nice. Very unusual menu but was a good experience and the food was tasty!The groceries are a good variety for unusual and organic vegan style products. The staff at the cashier were very similar to the coffee people, too busy in their own conversation to acknowledge the customer properly, only when to say the price.All in all though, the shop has good produce so I’ll be coming back for that but I won’t be expecting anything special from the staff.
