Been coming here for 15 years - best hair straightening!

Pauline and Ken are super professional and courteous at what they do: it’s like having a friend sort your hair out for you. Best known for their hair straightening prowess but Ken does a mean haircut for the men as well.

During the last ten years I have been visiting Ginger Hair to get my hair straightened. They are very skillled and genuine about their service. They often add a personal touch that puts them above the rest. I haven't found that level of professionalism and dedication anywhere else in Sydney.

I’ve been there since they were on Sussex st. Then move to new place near Central station.They are very professional, care for little details.And Pauline always be honest to her clients if their hair too damaged to do anymore coulor or straightening.I introduced Ginger hair to my 4 girl friends and everyone so happy and love this place.But I haven been back for a long time as I live far away now.I Highly reccoment this place.

I've had chemical hair straightening for the past 10yr and they always do an amazing job. I would highly recommend to anyone that wants to get hair straightening. Love the results which is why I always come back.

Went to get my hair permanently straightened at Ginger Hair and my opinion of the overall experience is extremely positive.Pauline and the workers clearly take so much pride and care in what they do, their work is precise, careful, and they walk you through the procedure as it is done periodically throughout the day. Their care was shown through an evaluation process of my hair, kindly asking me questions about my hair care routine and they gave further tips on how to better maintain it.Washed my hair for the first time today and it is still as straight and shiny, very happy and pleased with the results and Ginger Hair is very trustworthy based on my experience. Will recommend anyone to go to this salon because the care and genuine professionalism of this place is evident. Also, prices are unbeatable compared to other places here in Sydney and the job is carefully done with passion!

Pauline is literally a Hair Doctor. Prices are reasonable and do great hair straightning. I am going there for about 8 years now. I don’t even live in Sydney anymore but I still go to Sydney to get my hair done from Pauline. Their products like L’Oréal shampoo and hair masks are really good too and reasonably priced.

Although when I booked the appointment, she interrogated me and I ended up sending a picture of myself so she can see exactly what my hair looks like!!! At the salon, she lectured me for an hour and adviced on issues that were not relevant to my situation e.g. you must not tie wet hair, you must not blow dry your hair after 24 hours from washing, you must not sleep with wet hair, on and on and on about things I never do!! So I sat politely and nodded and agreed in hope that she will start working on my hair soon... but she progressed to find faults with my hair to convince me that the result of the straightening will be not great... and after I was convinced and have accepted full responsibility for the bad hair result and gave her the unconditional consent to resume straightening... she still imposed a test patch to be done which takes another hour!! Which I refused!!! I have been straightening my hair chemically/Japanese for 22 years now and I have never complained about any salon or hairdresser ever before!!!

Completely flawless hair salon. I come here for permanent straightening and have been for years and years. I have recommended so many friends. Hairdressers always tell me how healthy my hair is and they can’t believe it’s been straightened.
