The Brooklet
The bucolic Byron hinterland is the perfect setting for the laid back luxury on offer at The Brooklet. This was our second visit to the property and our first since the opening of the barn and surrounding amenities. We fell in love the first time around and to say we’re even more smitten is an understatement. The Bails accommodation is a perfectly appointed country cottage with all the creature comforts and plenty of space for our group of six adults. The rooms are all beautifully decorated with warmth and character. The grounds are lovingly maintained, the views are stunning and the property is amazingly well appointed, they have genuinely thought of everything you could ever possibly want or need during your stay! The recent additions of the barn, sauna, spa and gym were a treat. I hope with the opening of The Villas (under construction), and more guests being onsite in the future, that the property maintains its idyllic charm. Thank you to Greta and Patty for a wonderful stay. We will be back!

We hired The Barn for the day and did meditation, ice bath, hot tub, gym, breath work. The views were stunning, we had the place to ourselves and the property has a truely special vibe. The owners were so fantastic and friendly and help organise everything for your retreat day.

We stayed at this gorgeous property for a weekend while I attended a business retreat in Newrybar just a few minutes drive away. The accommodation is a stand alone 2 bedroom house (beautifully renovated dairy bails) away from the main homestead. Every morning we woke to panoramic views across the hinterland to Byron Bay.Greta was awesome to deal with from start to finish. She met us at the accommodation, explained everything and even had fresh bread, coffee, crackers, cheese, wine and beer ready for us!We stopped in to Bangalow on our way in at Greta's recommendation to stock up on grocery basics. The accommodation is used as a cooking school so has a well stocked kitchen which we used several times to cook up breakfasts and dinners. As someone who travels with a global knife - this was a plus! The beds were comfy and the shower was rated by my hubby as the best ever! The kids LOVED playing on the playground (swing set, slide, monkey bars and firemans pole), trampoline and having a hit of tennis. Mind you the free wifi was a massive plus too - because you know - there are times mum and dad need some down time" too!!Hubby and the kids drove to Ballina for a spot of fishing and would have travelled to Byron Bay had it not been full of people for the writer's festival! Everything was just a short drive away and so lovely to come home to the quiet of the hinterland. If we are back this way again we will definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to others!"

Our family of 5 couples and three children had the most wonderful stay at The Brooklet. We booked both the Farmhouse and the Bails for our family reunion and we fitted so comfortably into the two beautifully furnished homes. Now where do I start. Both homes were just stunning. The decor of both, invited you to relax into its luxurious and spacious comfort, the kitchens were more than amply equipped to cater for our large group, with large tables and areas to dine in and multiple lounge spaces to relax in. The grounds were amazing, the views beyond spectacular. Plenty of room for lawn games, picnics and long lunches under the giant shady trees or dinners under the festoon lights beside the barn. We set out tables in every beautiful space and enjoyed lunches and dinners outside and under the stars at night. We wanted for nothing, as everything was here for us to use.The pools were great, as were the gym and sauna. The hot tub was popular in the afternoons looking out to the hills and valleys and watching the sunset colours. It was hard to leave this place of utter delight. Our family will always remember our week here, it was incredibly special in so many ways.
