90 Mile Beach Holiday Retreat

If your not into fishing or walking along the beach then this is not for you. For me I like it, it's simple and peaceful. Andrew and Lyn are excellent hosts. If you don't caravan or camp there are a number of bungalows. For those that desire connection to the www there is no WiFi and like many parts of Gippsland limited mobile reception. Like I said peaceful.

Disappointing one night stay..this park could be fabulous if run correctly.. amenities block and camp kitchen a disgrace, no water on individual sites, rubbish bins not emptied and stinking ..all this for $80 for the night . We would not recommend and will not return.

Been going here for 15 years. NO MORE. New owner put prices up 50% (now $135/night) for a 1970's van that is a hazard ... no water, no heating, no toilet and floor nearly falling in. Go at own risk, but better, just don't go! That's how they treat loyal customers.

We arrived 230pm to find gate locked and no one there despite our booking for a powered site and their promise of us being able to upgrade to a cabin if the weather was bad . Such a beautiful area. So disppointed. Full refund was given.

Very run down amenities though small camp kitchen more up to date. Showers and toilets, (only used female,) NOT cleaned (4 days )except to refill toilet paper and hand soap. Three showers with no seemingly temp control, don't send your kids in there without adult assistance, burn accident waiting to happen. No rubbish collection routine observed. Noise not controlled, 2.30am, a neighbour was requested to turn music off! Speed of vehicles in park definitely an issue, again not monitored.

Lyn and her partner are lovely. Disappointed however as I specifically mentioned before I booked that I required 4g reception as I had some important work to finish and was assured there was reception however, when we got there both my Telstra and Vodafone phones could not get anything causing me to miss an important deadline. We stayed in the Sea Mist cottage. Everything worked well however the tv reception also did not work. You need to ask for towels. There is a strange smell in the bedroom closest to the kitchen, other guest comparing it to a outhouse toilet smell although I couldn’t smell it. The shower head is made for short people. I didn’t feel like it was clean and everything is very old however it was liveable. We had a fire pit which was amazing and the bbq worked well. Also nice out door seating. The 200 meter walk to the beach was what sold us and what kept us there! Although the beach is quiet dangerous to swim, the sand and the remoteness was the reason we enjoyed it so much. Also our dogs were allowed to stay (outside the house) and enjoyed the off lead beach.

Fantastic camp grounds, easy access to the beach, all amenities available and really lovely owners who can’t do enough for you! What a wonderful place to go camping!

Beautiful location but cabin was overpriced for what you got. $$360 for 2 nights in a dirty rundown shoebox. The bed covers were filthy, outdoor furniture falling apart and I walked away with bed bug bites all over my legs- will not be returning. I ga e two stars not for site but for location. Great place I’d you have your own caravan.

It was expensive, $85 a night for unpowered. We stayed 2 nights. And an extra $10 a night for a fire pitThe bathroom was tidy.The laundry was lockedThe kitchen had a really bad mouldy smell to it, wasn’t looked after or cleaned while we were there, it had dirt, bugs, ants etc on the benches, floor, tableThe covering over the bbq area is covered in mould and hanging so low you could touch it with your headThe kids played on the small playground but got very board fast as it’s so small and oldThe beach was empty but you can’t swim in that water the ways are so big and strong right on the shore lineIt’s a run down caravan park, it has the potential to be AMAZING, it’s a shame.The scenery was beautiful, we went for walks and the people staying there were lovely.The owners where nice when we first came along we didn’t see them much tho
