So I bought a Makita router that was on the shelf, which was the last one. Went back and opened it and some parts were missing.Went back the second day and needed to get a replacement.The store was out of stock and because we needed it for a job, I was happy to be allowed to go to another nearby store to pick it up.So far so good.But the second store took my license number down.Sent them an email and the Preston store manager called back and explained why they needed to do that.And deleted said data when I asked him to.So far so good as well.Thanks Sydney Tools Preston for turning a bad situation better. And make another happy customer out of an unhappy one. Thank you.

Huge range of tools, power tools and accessories, mostly for tradies and professionals. Much bigger range of high quality tools, the cheaper ones are similar to the most expensive ones at Bunnings or Mitre ten. Accessories, sockets, drill bits, driver bits etc is vast and very competitively priced, especially for items in bulk. I did find finding prices tricky sometimes as many especially larger items had no prices on or near them so I had to check their prices on their website. Staff, when you can get hold of one, (they were very busy, flat out when I was in) are very knowledgeable and were helpful in making my tool choices.

Terrible service. Sent me a quote, paid then told they didn’t have most the stuff. Went to pick it up 2 weeks later and still only got given half of it and got blamed on dispatch as they were sitting out the back. Had to go back a 3rd time. 100% would not go back

Frign awesome experience! I called to buy a cheap Makita drill starter kit, Aiden was great on phone, checked stock, held it for me. Got there and the guys explained clearly why I needed a better model, upgraded that again… same price and also threw in another 5ah battery … then guided me through redemption to get a free 5” grinder… the boss his offsider and the young guy Aiden were just fantastic, Thankyou

I can't believe I had never heard of this place. Incredible selection of tools and great service. Blows Bunnings and Mitre10 away for power tools. Do yourself a favour and check it out if in the market for this stuff.

Shop has good range of tools. But the staff are very rude and disengaging. I’ve had several tools lost or gone missing for months through the warranty service. I called countless times asking for a time frame on my tools return, with nobody able to give me a clear answer. They would just try and handball it on to the next bloke. I eventually got onto the guy at the back of the store who hadn’t even processed my request to ask where my tool is after over a month of me calling.I’m annoyed in myself that I bought my combo pack here because it means I have to come back.

I came in to replace 12 years worth off tools that had been recently knocked off. A lot of the Milwaukee tools had changed over the last decade & Ayden showed a vast amount of knowledge about each item. I purchased the 10p combo kit and was able to swap things out and add things in with no problems!Can’t speak highly enough about the boys here at Preston! Young fella Ayden almost burnt his fingerprints off typing away on the keyboard getting things swapped out, adding different products into kits and just being an absolute champion about it all. Nothing but absolute professionalism from the start. Well done boys!!!! Looking forward to coming back in soon.

Such rude staff! I don't know what their problem is. Purchased an expensive item and guy at the counter didn't even acknowledge me. When we walked in another staff member was yelling at a customer. I'll go to another Sydney tool's next time, not going this place any more business.

Website says the shops have the sku I'm after but when you call the shop or show up to buy it they can't find the products and say they don't have stock. What's the point in having physical shops if they don't have the stock or can't be bothered finding it out the back if they do?
