A review from a dental assistant. I recently moved here, I seen Dr Michael Moran as my 7 year old had a tooth ache, he checked the tooth didn’t try to take X-rays, referred me for an OPG at the hospital, he put a temp on, and I was told to come back, my next appt was a month away to check the tooth and do a possible pulpotomy or filling 54DO They claimed for a full mouth examination which he didn’t do (you can only claim 1 per year) he should’ve claimed a limited oral examination. After noticing that I cancelled further appointments and went somewhere else. I went to a different dentist he took an X-ray straight away and advised the tooth needed to come out as the hole was deep ( a baby tooth) and it couldn’t wait. I will be reporting this to the dental board.

Administrative staff make for the most unpleasant experience. Pushy, rude, judgmental and unwelcoming was the theme for all 7 of my appointments. In that time I witnessed other patients experiencing the same treatment and being belittled at the front desk infront of other patients. Honestly I was so disturbed by the manner in which myself and others were treated that I stopped my treatment plan and went elsewhere. For people at the forefront of patient care they seemed to only care for certain client's that passed through the door.On a more positive note (there is an upside to most places) appointments are always running on time and you never wait long for your scheduled appointment. The facilities were quite reasonable. Practicing dentists and dental staff were helpful and friendly.

Great experience all round. Staff were very friendly and helpful - Dr. Shakes was reassuring and good at his job. I've just taken my son there and made an appointment for my daughter. Can't get a better recommendation than that.Really pleased to have found you. Thanks.
