Optimal Health Medical Centre Rhodes Central

Highly recommend going to this clinic in Rhodes over MyHealth Rhodes at Rhodes Waterside.I have had pleasant experiences with Dr. Liz Golez here at the clinic. She is one of the very very few doctors that are nice and actually listen and care about their patients.Whenever I came to see her I had a long list of things I want to ask and she patiently answered and helped me with my requests. Such a pity Dr. Liz Golez will no longer be at this clinic in the future.I came back to this clinic after not having a good experience with Dr. Carla at MyHealth Rhodes.

First time at this medical centre, as soon as I arrived, was greeted with the most friendly receptionist. My total experience from entry to exit was a positive one. Thank you Dr Leanne Wang and co. Sure does make life easier when having medical challenges.

I came here after moving into the area, and had booked an appt over the phone. Reception staff are friendly, approachable and a great asset both over the phone and in person.Due to running behind, I saw Dr Zhu after closing time, and not only did he appear in a rush, but also incredibly dismissive and rude, with no bedside manner or patience. I had a NSW health form to be filled out, the parts he has filled out are incorrect/insufficient, and I will now be starting over. Had booked for a flu vaccine here, but have since booked elsewhere and will be calling to cancel.

My sister and brother (came for whooping cough vaccination) and I (came for flu vaccination). We three don’t have medicare. After filling the form, the doctor called the 3 of us into the room together all at once just to ask what vaccine do we need to get and if there are any allergies occurred with medicines before. The total time for all 3 of us in the room was just 5-7 mins. At the end I was charged for $39.75 as a consultant fee even though I did not ask for it and the flu vaccine was given for free as I am pregnant. My brother and sister were charged $75 each for the scripts they got to buy the vaccine in the chemist downstair. Feeling like they tried their best to go after money.

I took my daughter this morning to see the doctor who sees the whole family and some ridiculous people who work at the reception took away our right to see the doctor for not buying them face mask from the dispenser they have as part of the business. Instead, they preferred to lose 5 patients forever. Next time, think better and give your patients a face mask to avoid bad times. This medical center is definitely going from bad to worse since the first time I started going 2 years ago.

Recommended 100%Doctor Beatrice is Amazing! ...I have had the opportunity to be treated by different medical centres but this one has been the best experience, they were very kind, detailed, they made me feel comfortable and above all safe to share with them. If there were more stars I would give them 100. Excellent work, never change. Everything is very clean, hygienic, perfect biosecurity protocols. The girls in the reception are super kind, quick attention. I got all my results quickly!

A very professional experience. Dr Beatrice is wonderful. She takes time to actually listen. The receptionist staff are also warm and welcoming.

Went there for my baby's vaccine and skin problem. Nurse Wisan was so good. She was patient, caring and helpful. Definitely 5 stars if this review is all about my experience with her.Unfortunately my experience with Dr Frank Zhu was the opposite. He was insensitive and uninterested. He was told that I was breastfeeding behind the curtain and about to dress up but he just came straight in front of my breast to check baby's heart rate. No courtesy to say a word. Also didn't bother spending more than a minute regarding my baby's skin issue.The centre is very decent and clean. Great location.

Negative experience. I have been there for twice and gonna go for last time just to get my result.I saw some reviews from internet and I learned that we need to pay gap fees from July. I was 'surprised' at first and then I accepted.Other thing is I need to have other appointment to get my result, it's not convenient for me compared other medical center.I got result from other medical center without new appointment in last year. Yes,each medical center has their own policies.I will Never ever go back there anymore.Don't recommend this medical center even if it's at rhodes central.
