Very modern and clean hotel located in Ryde across from a shopping plaza. Lots of amenities including a rooftop lounge and games/cinema room. I love how clean and modern it was. It's a little far away from the city center, but is easily accessible via bus or ferry if you want to walk a bit. The best accommodation I've stayed at in Australia so far. I will be back.Also, SUPER cute girl at reception. ☺️

We have stayed here. Great location to allow us travel by the train or our car. Their car park is safe enough and the room was clean and staff was lovely. Recommend studio 8

This is such a lovely place which is clean, new and quiet. A perfect location in the heart of Ryde with shops, cafes and restaurants all around. Public transport basically at the door. I would highly recommend this place with lovely staff who went above and beyond for my requests. You even get a free barista made coffee each day. 10/10

Had a very noteworthy experience at Studio 8. It fit the bill for exactly what we needed. A small quiet place to rest our heads, keep our luggage safe, with a microwave, kettle, shower and toilet. It was very clean upon arrival, and each day our rooms were restocked, remade and cleaned. On the last day however, the bedding was replaced with bedding that was stained, but otherwise was great. They had great facilities, friendly 24/7 reception desk, and was so easy to get to and from via public transport. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would come back again in a heart beat. Thank you for accomodating myself and my son.

Nothing bad to say about the place, really clean and friendly helpful staff, cleaner put things I forgot at the front desk I was very thankful! Awesome price, close to Olympic Park and great location if you're driving down to Sydney from the central coast

I recently had an extremely unpleasant experience with the reception service at this hotel. Instead of simply doing their job as a receptionist, the Asian male seemed to be more interested in playing the role of a police officer. When I arrived with my family to check in, the receptionist rudely interrogated us with questions like 'Could you explain why there are five of you?' without any politeness or respect. The worst part was when the receptionist refused to accept a Singapore passport as a valid form of ID for the physical card, despite it being a widely recognized document. It was a disappointing and frustrating experience especially when we had an elderly member with us, and I hope the hotel takes steps to improve the behavior of its reception staff which could start from basic manners such as “Thank you” and “please”.

This was a while ago now, but me and my friend were staying for a concert, we arrived to check in at two so we could make it to Olympic park in plenty of time, however our room hadn't been cleaned and wasn't ready when we arrived - the receptionist however was helpful and managed to get us into a different room fairly quickly when we asked about it, so in terms of service it was good. The room was clean, and pretty much what I was expecting from what I believe is repurposed student accommodation? (so small rooms and bathrooms if that's a problem for you). Overall a good stay.

I have stayed at studio 8 a few times. The parking is secure and the rooms very clean, i also like the free morning coffee. The rooms are on the small size but quite reasonable for the price. Location wise, not the best, no trains, but the bus route is quite good and easy to use. Staff on reception are a bit of a hit and miss (I prefer consistent customer service so they lost one star for this) still of the numerous times I have stayed I have only had one or two staff who were a bit short and unhelpful. Their email responses are good and I find the place to always be very quiet at night.

I have stayed at studio 8 twice now and I absolutely love it. The room's are very clean but it's small size and it's reasonable for the price. Location wise is great since there's a shopping centre right next door to the hotel and there's also bus stops nearby as well. I 100% recommend this hotel and will be staying again in the future.

The room was really nice, clean, large bed, great shower, and comfy bed.The complementary brewed coffee was an amazing plus.It is in front of a large mall with so many food and market options.The bus stop is just outside, taking 30 minutes to get to the city.
