I have been ordering takeaway from here for years now but on Saturday night we decided to dine-in. Definitely not as good as I'd had in the past. Two of us booked online and when we arrived at 7:30pm for our table the girl at the counter told us she'd have to see if they could still seat us. The restaurant was empty and they didn't close until 9pm! We ordered spring rolls, honey chicken, a beef dish and fried rice. The honey chicken came out first without the rice and it tasted like it had been double deep-fried. The batter was so hard I could barely get through to the chicken. ten minutes later the rice came out and by then the honey chicken was basically cold. The sizzling beef came out hot thankfully which we ate as quickly as possible. After we'd nearly finished my friend mentioned to the waitress that we also ordered spring rolls. The waitress said she'd go and 'check' and came back saying it was not written down and did we still want it. I would have said no but my friend said yes and so we ate our entree last. I noticed that two plates of food were put down at another table and ten minutes later a couple came in. The lady made a comment about the food already being at the table and the waitress said that the food shouldn't be too cold". Personally I would have asked for fresh food or left.I won't be in a hurry to buy food here again."

Celebrated with family and could not fault the service or the food. Meals are a generous size The absolute highlight was the amazing deep fried ice cream at the end of our meal. Will certainly be back.

Must have a new chef as the taste was not the same as it use to be. Some of the dishes seemed to have been cooked after a prior dish containing fish sauce, could smell and taste it in the mongolian beef and the curry chicken, the Melaka chicken which is normally creamy , is now darker in colour and cant taste the coconut flavour. Lastly the spring rolls seemed to be made with a over powering mince and tasted a bit vinegary. Very disappointed after spending $90 for the dishes. I have supported the restaurant everytime we wanted chinese, but it only takes one disappointed meal and you go spending your money elsewhere.

Every time my family and I head to the Gold Coast, without fail, we make sure we head to Highland Court Chinese Restaurant and once again the service and the food didn’t fail to deliver. We were in the Gold Coast for a special family occasion and the team catered for a family of 15 people - every single meal was stunning (the duck is amazing), the children enjoyed the fried ice cream. Old and young alike absolutely loved the food. All 15 of us wholeheartedly recommend. This food is a must try!

They do Gluten free. But be careful with the BBQ pork, & conform the GF options. Amazing food though.

Visited this restaurant as part of a group. We had a banquet feast with a large variety of dishes. Everything was delicious and fresh. Bbq duck was amazing. Mongolian beef an absolute stand out. Could fault any of the ten dishes we were served. Service was friendly, quick and attentive. A great local restaurant and will now become a regular fave. We'll done!

How does a Chinese restaurant burn noodles. This was my Birthday dinner, I complained and it was replaced but not even a sorry or here's free prawn chips. Will head to Benowa Highland court from now on. Do better

We had a group family booking (17), the food was delicious, the service exceptional and very accommodating to dietary requirements, nothing was too much for them. This is now our favourite Chinese restaurant and highly recommend!

Highland Court Chinese Restaurant
My wife and I both were very sick on Sunday after eating from this place on Saturday night. 2 other adults and 3 kids who live in the same house did not eat the food and didn't get sick so we're pretty sure it was not a gastro bug but the food from this place.
