5 stars for Potters Receptions :)EXCELLENT: Managing staff very warm and helpful,Immaculate gardens and beautiful (recently renovated?) interiors,Bathrooms and Toilets are very modern and very very clean.GOOD: Food.Not so good: entry ways feel low. I am only a little tall (180something cm / 6ftsomething) and thought I would bump my head on some entries, except the chapel doorway. I am guessing this is because it's a historic venue, built at a time when people were shorter. Not sure.Note: I didn't bump my head :)

From the moment we walked through the beautiful grounds at Potters, we knew we had found a very special wedding venue. We were amazed by the the number of breathtaking locations around the venue for photo opportunities and how warm and welcoming the staff were. We felt extremely supported during the planning process with the staff always being quick to respond and making every effort to accommodate our needs. We also used many suppliers that Potters had recommended, all of whom spoke very highly of working with the Potters team.As for the day itself, it was everything we had dreamed of and so much more! Everything had been perfectly set up and the day ran so smoothly, largely due to the abundance of staff members present on the day. All the staff were friendly, approachable and extremely attentive to our bridal party and guests. When I first walked into the reception, my breath was taken away with how stunning it looked. The large windows brought the rustic outdoors in and the soft lights set a lovely ambiance. We received so many compliments from our guests about the beautiful venue, the wonderful staff, and the incredible food.I cannot speak highly enough about the team at Potters and would like to thank you all for making our special day absolutely perfect!

Potters was so wonderful. I really can't thank the staff enough. They were all so lovely and competent. I didn't have to worry about a thing on the day; everything was just taken care of so well.All the guests were impressed. We got a lot of feedback afterwards that the food was fantastic, the venue was beautiful, everything ran smooth as butter, and the guests had so much fun at the wedding.My memory of the staff laughing and smiling a lot really stands out. Everyone around me was so happy on that day, and so was I.We had a few unusual (but hopefully not unreasonable!) requests re the setup on the day, which was accepted with a can-do attitude and it was all setup well.There are also a lot of perfect photo locations on site. We got so many great photos, some with the late afternoon sun shining on us.All in all, a very smoothly run wedding at a very picturesque venue. It was actually worth the wait (being a covid cancellation/postponement). Highly recommend!

Yesterday we celebrated my daughter’s wedding at Potters Receptions, the kids got married in the chapel, had photos in the beautiful gardens and the reception also at the venue. We couldn’t fault anything the entire day. The staff are amazing- the food was high end restaurant quality and as a venue for any type of celebration I can absolutely 100% recommend Potters Receptions. As a wedding photographer, I would highly recommend Potters Reception as a wedding venue. There's native landscaped gardens all around and Potters offer multiple spots for the ceremony & reception. The expansive grounds with onsite accommodation, and attentive staff make it the perfect choice for any couple looking to create a memorable and romantic wedding experience for themselves and their guests.

My husband and I loved having our August 2022 wedding at Potters. The wonderful staff were so incredibly helpful and kind to us, and really were able to make the day run so smoothly. The grounds are truly beautiful and the reception site has enough room for heaps of guests (we had around 140). Communication up to the day was excellent even to the morning of when we had to move some people around. I am incredibly thankful to all at Potters for making our special day perfect.

My job as a wedding photographer recently took me to Potters Receptions, and I have to say I was blown away! The level of communication and organisation was superb, making my life so much easier on the day. I felt like we were all part of a team trying to make the wedding day of Char + Oli as amazing as we possibly could. As a vendor, I have to say I really appreciated that I was offered water on the hot day alongside the guests, and that I was served a wonderful selection of Vegetarian foods at the same time as the wedding party, so that I could capture speeches after. A true role model on how venues should treat fellow vendors! Hoping to be back at this beautiful place. x

Thank you to everyone at Potters! We had been to view many venues and starting to lose faith we had overlooked potters a few times and finally bit the bullet and went to view it. From the first visit to the day it was just perfect Everyone was so helpful, they listen to what you want, always communicating with you and the best part was allowing tyson our dog to spend our special day with us. They decorated the reception perfectly and the natural beauty of the vines outside was a perfect location to say I do.Again a massive thank you to all the team you are amazing and your location is just beautiful so glad we choose you for our special day
