The worst store I ever visited. I walked in just before closing time to purchase one item. I asked if they were open they advised me they were closing in 5mins but it's okay to get your item. I'm not from the area and live 3hrs away.Just want to keep it simple. Could say more but let it go. The customer service was absolutely awful. One staff member was rude, giving attitude and too concerned to go home than get a sale. No concept of what customer service is.I left my purchase with disgust and went down to the bunnings store in bairnsdale. Got what i wanted. The staff were fantastic with smiles. That's customer service.Never ever again try Mitre 10.

Dahlsens building centre today in bairnsdale, terrible customer service, we purchased a faulty exhaust fan and had to return it, the fuss that was made was unprofessional, no apology for the inconvenience, no Thankyou, no friendly service at all.

Worth the trip into town to AVOID monster chain bunnings and support a more local hardware and gardening store. Also great friendly, helpful service and beaut new addition of the Bloom flowers!

AWESOME quality plants and EXTREMELY helpful service!... The cafe is fantastic and I wouldn't go anywhere else for tasty food/drinks at resonable prices!.. The gift shop is beautifully set out and whenever we visit there is always something different to look at!... The first place I go to when at our holIday house down that way is Dahlsens and Websters! HIGHLY recommended!

Great garden center. Fabulous cafe' inside as well. Lovely florist and also a selection of gifts to browse through.
