Tyrepower Port Melbourne

Great service at Tyrepower in Port Melbourne. Staff were extremely professional. Pricing was good for a major service compared to other mechanics. Always concerned being ripped off as a female, this was not the case at Tyrepower. This was the first time I went to Tyrepower but when my next service or tyres require attention I will definitely go back. Very convenient and clean workshop. Thanks Mark and team.

I have used these guys to fit my new tyres originally and then discovered they were also Repco Service mechanics as well. I was very happy with how professional they were so I tried them with my vehicles service and a few minor issues I was having with my car. They have fixed all my problems and I am very happy that I have found my new mechanics!! Many Thanks to all your staff for the great work.

Very very expensive.Charged me over $600 of labour (not including parts) for an oil change, cabin air and intake air filters and front brake pad change/bleed.I understand that this is an expensive area, being located near the city, but this is still an outrageous amount for what should be about two hours of work for one mechanic (if that). If you are considering mechanical repairs here, I would shop around and get some alternate quotes, you will likely save a few hundred dollars.Two stars because at least the service was polite while they shafted me.

Was referred to these mechanics and tyre shop by a work collegue as my BMW car was costing me a small fortune in maintenance and I was thinking of selling due to the maintenance costs. My service on my car was under half to what I had been previously paying through another workshop in South Melbourne. The staff were incredibly helpful and pleasant to deal with. Will be happy to recommend to anyone and I love my BMW again!

We drove our car to this shop for maintenance at 18/03/2020. 600 AUD for fix up water tank and RWC. However, our car went up in white smoke again after leaving this shop only 20 minutes later.We drove back to this shop and ask Mark can they help us to salvage our car because we were leaving Australia next day. He suggested that let they check again and they would contact us for repairing or salvaging next morning.Justin contact us on 19/03/2020 that it would cost 1700 AUD to repair our car so he suggested that salvage it.We filled the transfer form and Justin said that it would be done in 2 days and the refund would transfer to our bank account.After going back to our country, we contacted Mark by mails to check the situation. However, our car 1MV4SQ was driven on EASTLINK on 29/03/2020 and our relatives received the bill on 11/04/2020. We ask Mark and Justin what’s going on but they did not answer us directly. Moreover, the rego was been renewed until 30/04/2021.Obviously, they cheated the car from us and sold it to another guy or they drove this car themselves.Be carefull for this shop, they are run by dishonest people who overcharge without fixing your car and are willing to cheat the car off you! Share this to others and save yourself a headache!

Mark and his team at Tyrepower are always professional and give the best advice and service. I have recommended Mark as a mechanic to all my friends and neighbours. They are now going to him. I have called Mark at the last minute and he will always try to get the car in to be serviced so that I am not inconvenienced.Thank you for always giving me your honest assessment and advice. Beth

I have been coming to Tyrepower Port Melbourne for 2 years now and I am extremely happy. I'm a 20 something year old female and I always feel like they have my best interests at heart, they take great care of me and my car. They are incredibly efficient, friendly and realistic with timeframes and costs. I feel like a valued customer every time I book in. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Knowledgeable staff, good at their craft , cover all aspects of auto repair and service. Went out their way to help my elderly partner with a tyre and rim problem, and she is very pleased with the result. Highly recommend.

Would give them no stars if it was an option. Tried to rip me off telling me I had a leak in my steering rack and would need a new one for my RWC. Justin wouldn’t look me in the eye when I returned after informing them I’d take it for a second opinion, Mark on the front desk is rude and arrogant. Took my car to another mechanic who informed me there was no problem with my steering rack, just trying to make $$$ out of me. DO NOT USE!!!

Needed hard to find tyres a couple of days before a weekend trip and these guys were brilliant in sourcing them, arranging overnight delivery and fitting the next day. Amazing customer service and great people to boot. Highly recommended.
