Ski Kaos

Like most people who have written reviews here we too were ripped off. Not the first time our holiday plans were cancelled due to Covid but the first time we dealt with a rude, greedy and unethical operator. You made it clear Bruce that you don't care to be ethical and it's not your problem if I or anyone else looses money. Your emails (easy to be a keyboard warrior rather than speak to people direct ... oh we tried to speak to you but you only want to be dealt with via email) are so un-Australian and disgusting.You must be loving Covid as this has given you an opportunity to receive government grants and lots of money from innocent hard working people whilst you sit back doing nothing.THERE IS A WAY TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK!!!If you paid by credit card (Bruce in his dodgy way tries to convince you to pay him cash / direct ... now I know why) then call your bank and your money will be refunded as you legally did not receive the Goods or Services you paid for. I encourage everyone to do this. The bank will then chase up the money you should receive back (regardless of the terms and conditions outlined by Ski Kaos). I received legal advice and was directed to do this and I was fortunate to get half of my money back. The other half was paid by direct debit so I couldn't get any of this back. Any refund is better than nothing.For those looking at booking with this company please don't.

I did a bus trip with Ski Kaos late in the ski season last year. The bus ride was smooth with out any hiccups. We arrived in Cooma around 5am before the rush, to collect our Ski hire. Conveniently there is a Maccas next door to grab some breaky and morning coffee as well. We then made it to Thredbo with perfect timing for the Ski lifts to open. The accommodation was warm and clean and very close to town. Bruce was very easy to deal with and would highly recommend this trip.

Ski Kaos represented by Bruce is the best option when looking for an accommodation in Thredbo and surroundings. He's always fast, precise and extremely friendly when dealing with his clients.

Thanks so much for a really wonderful stay!! Such a fabulous location and a lovely, spacious apartment. Thredbo is a gorgeous village with so many great things to do. Our family had the best time and would love to return!!

Everyone was stoked with the flat, kids and adults.The location is excellent. Very close to ski lifts and the village.Place was freshly cleaned, beds comfy and room bigger than expected. Lots of room for storing and drying gear.A sauna in the room was a bonus and good for all.Kitchen is fully equipped and lots of fridge space.I was lucky to get a booking and will be keen to book early next year.

I have recently returned from Thredbo where I stayed for 4 nights for an excellent price thanks to Ski Kaos. I have booked through Ski Kaos multiple times since 2017 and once again Bruce was absolutely fantastic with assisting me once again. The process was so simple and Bruce kept in contact the whole time and went out of his way to send additional information about the premises. I will be using Ski Kaos again and would recommend them highly. Well done Bruce and team, keep up the good work!

I would give Bruce and his rude attitude 0 star if I could. He’s not a host just a thief taking advantage of everyone during a pandemic. A group of us had booked accommodation for last year but were unable to go due to getting locked down because of Covid. After a lot of back and forth with Bruce, we were basically told to accept we couldnt get a refund. With more persistence he told us we could go next year and it’s already paid for just have to book it. Which we weren’t keen on but didn’t have much other choice. This year we tried organise that booking and surprise surprise, he had a fine print of the conditions. we have been getting slow useless replies telling us we couldn’t use our credit from last year but instead we could get a discount. Not happy at all with the lack of care I’ve received. The place is indeed kaos. I’d advise everyone to not even bother booking at Ski kaos because you will just be ripped off.

Wow... how does this guy got more than 2 stars?Did he ask for family & friends to voting positively ?Never since I got to Australia I had to deal with such a rude and inconsiderate host a Bruce - He won't give us a refund because COVID is not his fault" and he wouldn't provide any solution. - Read a newspaper Bruce... The whole country was in lockdown

Never use this business. Here's why. I have used this company about 5 times too. 22nd July 2022 I booked a 3 day snow trip. The bus seat next to me had a black bin liner on it because the windows/ roof was leaking. All other seats were full. Pools of water and visible dripping. Arrival to Thredbo resort was 2hrs+ late because people from the group went to get Maccas 1km away without permission. Obtaining and getting gear onto the bus has also taken much longer than it should have. I helped other travellers by physically carrying boots, poles anything to make it faster. No time for breakfast as it was arround 10 am until we left Rhythm, Cooma. When the coach arrived at Central on the return journey my father was there helping me pack my bags into the car. I accidentally forgot my Sea to Summit shopping bag which had contents inside to the value of $90+. As soon as I arrive home (30 mins later) I call up Stuart/Bruce to let them know of what has happened. To my dismay my belongs were given away to a total stranger. No remorse given.The bus seat I was on had a neoprene cover with a very hard to buckle up seat belt. Over the next few days I washed EVERYTHING because it smelled of vomit inducing mildew.Pros from the trip was the location of our accommodation which was amazing. Ben Halls was the name of the place. Had all the amenities a regular home has plus a sauna! Also the village shuttle buses and Foodworks in walking distance. Great weather during my stay.Book with YHA and get a Greyhound or a Murrys bus down and save yourself the money.$636 For 2 night stay and bus from sydney to Thredbo return is what Ski Kaos charged me. Plus they wanted BYO linen.5 Stars for the accommodation but overall only 2 stars. =-(
