During the storms a few weeks back, my Maltese x escaped and ended up here. The staff were very friendly and understanding and the release process was simple and quick.

Website is difficult to navigate trying to find impounded animals . The pics that are posted are basically useless. IE Stand over a dog and take a pic of head looking up at you 300mm away. No standing profile pics at eye level makes it hard to identify the poor scared things And then you have the breed identification problem sux. Not a fan. If you've lost or found a pet you'll get a far better response on the Toowoomba Pets Lost and Found group.

They put down my pet staff even though another dog was involved in the incident where someone was bitten. Put down the staff keep the American pit bull that had been known to bite in the past live. Good job and investigation work guys! Hope someone reverses over ya cat in ya driveway. Not dog but cat.

The staff need to go to spec savers as they can not even get a cat colour right. Run by lemmings basically.

I am ready to replace my much loved border collie Astro who I was forced to have put down due to cancer in early January. I have been looking around to adopt a relatively senior dog who has a similar life expectation as myself. I an healthy 74 years. Ideally he would.be a working dog breed or cross. I have had a few dogs all of them have been loyal. well behaved and none of them have caused any trouble apart from Timmy, a border collie I had as a 12_14 year old who was smarter than I wasI believe that I have an affinity with dogs, on my morning and afternoon walks I pass many dogs being walked by their owners almost always the dogs come up to me for a pat. Although my yard is fenced and none of my dogs have ever escaped even for a short time even though they all could have jumped my fence if they wanted to ( they were taught not to) I was deemed not suitable because some of fences were only a metre high not 2 metres. I understand that they are worried that if they let me adopt a dog he will escape. However Ibelieve that if the dog is even a little smart he or she will soon realise that they have a good home with.me, will be looked after and become my family and will not want to go anywhere else.

One star is to generous.Absolutely useless.Encouraged me to leave a dog in a metal box on a hot day with no water and someone will be around eventually to check if there are any there.When I requested they instead pick it up from property they said they were unable to today which I accepted until they told me to just leave it there, again. When I said I was unwilling to because it’s hot they said “Well the boxes aren’t hot but that’s your choice” and hung up on me.Unprofessional idiots.

The team do good work. They look after lost pets. I have had the experience of the team helping me reunite a lost dog with its owner.
