Went in on Saturday the 21/01/23 to get a new mobile phone. Selected $43 phone and a $59 plan, $102 a month total or so I thought. Salesperson draws up contract, scrolls down to the sign here section @ the bottom and says “your monthly payment will be $116 per month for 36 months, if you are happy with that please sign here”I asked why is the total higher than the phone & plan I selected? He said “For today only you get a case, screen protector, Bluetooth speaker and scam protection”I asked for free or as an extra? “He said no for $9 extra a month” still didn’t add up to the total off $116 a monthI asked him to show me what he was talking about, long story short it was all cheap rubbish that I didn’t need, require or ask for.He tried to sneakily add products without my knowledge hoping that I would sign before realising, this is dishonest at best, how many people have been caught out with this questionable practice I wonder?I spoke to the manager & he seemed to be complacent with this practiceNot a good look for Optus especially after the data breach

Went in to this store at 9am as soon as they opened, wasn’t severed for 15 minutes. Staff member comes up to ask and asks what the issue is, we needed to replace my mobile phone as we have insurance, the man said we needed to call a number, we called this number they said we needed to go in store, we then spoke to a different staff member and she said she would help she then walked away into a room and had us wait for 15 minutes and still didn’t serve we knocked on a door that the lady had gone into and the manger opened the door and told us to leave the store then continued to call security! absolutely disgusting customer service. i have been going to this exact optus store for 4/5 years and had the exact same issue with an old phone and got helped in store and now i can’t get helped inside the store. absolutely disgusting on optus’s part especially since the data leak.

I went to upgrade my phone recently and I received top Tier service. Everything was explained clearly and the level of professionalism from sales rep Lucy and store manager Brad, made my day! Will be coming back next time

I was served by Brad when entering the store. Brad directed me to sit down as all sales staff were with clients. I sat for a few minutes waiting. During this time Brad circled the store and checked his phone several times. When Brad passed me next I asked if he was able to help me with my problem as he was not currently with a customer. Brad immediately became defensive standing over me and insisting that he was the store manager and he didn’t serve customers. I said that if he wasn’t busy at this time though, could he serve me? He became more defensive and somewhat arrogant and then stated ‘of course I can serve you, I know how, but I am the store manager so I don’t serve the customers. You can either wait for a sales person, or try and solve the problem online’. At that stage I had no interest in continuing my business in store and left.As a result of this encounter I will be cutting off all services I hold with Optus (home internet & mobile phone).

Sunday female salesperson couldn't give me any further information about 3 products other than what was on the blurb. She didn't listen to what I wanted and ultimately wasted 15 minutes of my time. Tried again on weekday and salesperson neither had product knowledge or great interest in a sale. Very disappointed as previously had good experiences years prior.

Been there a good few times but not very welcoming. Customer service isn't great. Hopefully things improve. Website shows items in stock but then reality is it's not physically there, so a bit of a waste of my time.

Store manager and staff is very helpful . Especially Arjun store manager is gem person with polite behaviour , and sort out everything in 20 minutes.

Terrible customer service from store manager and his sales staff. After being a customer for several years and went in store to upgrade phone to the new Samsung I was rudely spoken to when I asked if that was the best deal they could do. When we said we would move to Telstra due to ther service provided and their price their response was hands down Telstra is more expensive so move if you like". So we did and recieved a much better deal for a similar price.When we came back to cancel our planes
