Spectrum Medical Imaging

I sent through the Referral from my GP on Friday 29/04/2022 as requested with confirmation that it had been received, and was advised (by notification) that a member of Staff would contact me (shortly) to arrange an appointment. It is now Monday 2/05/2022 and nobody from Spectrum has yet contacted me. Very poor !

On hold for 5 minutes before leaving my name and phone number requesting a call back. 2.5 hours later, call again and waited 12 minutes before being offered the same option to leave details for a call back. Short staffed? Whatever the reason, pretty bad service.

It's busy but worth the wait here. Professional staff and practice and my sonographer was really reassuring, informative and had a lovely manner.

Poor form by staff member being very short and shrewd to elderly gentleman who clearly needed to be dealt with in a kind and patient manner . Not impressed at all. We should respect our elders they deserve better than that shoddy service. Shame on you.

The staff was very rude and didn’t even greet or say goodbye. It was a day with torrential rain. I arrived a few minutes late at my appointment and they refused to see me. They also charge a lot money for ultrasounds that are free in other imaging places.

I had my ultrasound three weeks ago, but my new doctor advise me to do another ultrasound. The staff greats me and advise me that ultrasound is not usually done frequently within a month. So she will send and print the result of my previous ultrasound result to the doctor, instead having to redo and pay. Good advice and thanks to her.I got the print out result.The receptionists are professional and helpful, especially the senior one (I don't know her name) and also Paula. The staff who handled my previous ultrasound is also friendly and respectful.

I had a booking for 2pm, got there 10 minutes before, waited for 40 minutes and I was told they were running a bit behind, however everyone who got there after me was attended and not myself. So disappointed as a few months ago they refused to serve me as I got there 5 minutes late. Terrible service specially for a health provider.

Terrific experience! Everyone from reception to x-ray and ultrasound brilliant. Would recommend to anyone. Well done ladies!

I’ve not written a review beforeUsually if I’m not happy I will just not returnAnyway here goesSpectrum imaging MaroubraThey did my ultra sound Tuesday am, back at my gp on Wednesday lunch, with a diagnose which required a injection in my shoulderWent into spectrum imaging, lucky for me they managed to slot me very soon that day.As I was in intense pain, this was highly pleasing to me.All the reception staff were very professional and courteous and adhering to COVID protocol.Then once in the treatment area the nurse and doctor fully explained and reassured me of theTreatment to follow.In summary.Professional, polite, and caring.My experience on both occasions is by far a service provided above and beyond expectations.A big Thank you to all the team, and much appreciated, in these challenging times dealing with the general public, and being a key front line service.Stay safe, and kind regards, Joseph
