Forest Lake parkrun

Nice track, not overly crowded, some mild ups and downs. Good group of people.

Path is a bit bendy, but overall great area. Even got a zooper dooper at the end on a cold morning.

Forest Lake Parkrun is a community event where you can run/walk/skip the 5 kilometer course at your own pace. Yes there are fast runners (18 minutes for 5km) and there are comfortable walkers (1 hour for a 5km walk) and everything in between.Some people push prams, some people have dogs on leads, and some people just run.The volunteers are friendly and the whole event is fun and a great way to start your weekend. After the run you can have a Zooper-Dooper and there is a coffee shop across the road (Simple Bliss) where you can sit and enjoy the serenity of the lake before you head home.

Lovely parkrun route going through a shaded pathway. Great bunch of people who run it as well.

An amazing community event with a great team of volunteers. The track itself is a Y shaped out and back, with slight undulating hills and predominantly shaded the entire course. Surface is all paved footpaths.An added bonus during the warmer months is a complimentary Zooper Dooper at the end of the run. Definitely worth checking out.

So much fun! Friendly and a lovely course! Highly recommend! Welcoming for all levels, beginner and pro! If your walking, jogging, sprinting, it doesn't matter! You'll never be last! The tail walker is last, that's their job! You won't get lost!
